1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
We have been in business since 2003 in Montana. Brian McGeehan (outfitter) has been guiding fly fishing trips across the west since 1996. We decided to start our own operation because we recognized how important great guides are when someone takes a fly fishing vacation.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We also love to take our guests to some of the off the beaten path locations that receive little angling pressure.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Brian McGeehan is the owner and outfitter. Brian has been guiding for 16 years in Colorado and Montana. He is also an avid traveler and leads destination fly fishing trips to world class locations such as Argentina, Chile, and the Bahamas in the off season.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our packages are custom designed to meet the needs of our guests. We take into account the budget and specific desires of our visiting anglers. We also try to match folks up with the best locations based on the time of year they are visiting and the conditions of the rivers. Our lodge packages are very popular even though they are a bit pricier than hotel and vacation homes. Lodges provide meals and a great ambiance which help to enhance the overall fishing vacation.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
This was our first fly-fishing trip to Montana. We had high expectations and Montana Angler exceeded them. Adventure, scenery and great fishing! The guides were knowledgeable, hardworking and definitely knew where the fish were! We plan to go back and it will be with Montana Angler.
