"I had a wonderful short stay in Burundi. Thanks to Augustin, I managed to see a lot within a short time. His knowledge and love for his beautiful country is infectious, and I was impressed by his enthusiasm and never-ending ideas on developing tourism in Burundi. His rapport with many people, in particular, the kind guardian to the Sanctuary of the Drums, opens many doors for the visitor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting not just Burundi but also the surrounding countries."

||"Of course I and my wife are taking our 3 children with us”; we want to experience East Africa as a family”; Bob replied. That is what Bob said when we asked him how many people were going to take part in a 13 day-safari that started in Bujumbura, Burundi went through Rwanda and ended in Entebbe, Uganda

Below is the detailed review of one his children:
I enjoyed going on the tours with M20248 in Burundi, Rwanda, and Uganda.
I liked going to the hotels, sites and safari. The tour guide provided great recommendations, service, and kindness. I also like how we got to go three countries in two weeks to see different diversity in people and the environment. I would recommend more walking safaris for people under 16 to see different primates.

||Myself and my partner were 2 independent travellers who wanted to spend a few days in Burundi on our trip that included a tour of Uganda and Rwanda in November 2012. There is not much information available on Burundi as a tourism destination and we were grateful for Augustin who helped arrange a 3 day tour of some
... view more of the main sights in and around Bujumbura. We stayed at the Hotel Club du Lac and enjoyed the refreshing pool, great food, hospitality, entertainment and the white beach sands overlooking Lake Tanganyika, with the sunset in the evenings behind the DRC bordering mountains which is a truly moving sight neither of us will ever forget. We saw hippos and crocs at close quarters in the Ruzizi NP and went to the Burundi Zoo, now under renovation and there is development towards opening a cultural centre in the very near future. In addition we saw the Burundi main university site and enjoyed views from the mountain tops of the capital and infamous lake. We enjoyed a trip to Gitega/Gishora to the drummers museum, saw the Catholic influence in the town and also the National Museum of Burundi. We visited the Livingstone/Stanley monument in Bujumbura Rurale. The road trip was very interesting through the mountainous thick bush at high altitude, really getting to see a quite untouched beautiful and largely undiscovered part of Africa. The people were extremely welcoming and friendly and I just wish we had more time to enjoy, discover and explore this up and coming future destination. I would recommend the country and indeed M20248, who is in many respects a pioneering tourist expert who's passion for his country, its people, history and future aspirations as a nation is truly infectious. Our needs were catered for at very short notice, but Augustin had prepared well and the whole trip was a seamless and well executed private tour. If you're thinking about going, just do it, you'll discover your inner intrepid side.
