InfoHub supplier since Nov 2010!
Base of operations: Poland
Here I am - Renata, ready to guide you in Warsaw and in the Mazovia region, where I was born, brought up, studied literature and history at Warsaw University and have worked - for a certain time as a journalist, from time to time as a translator of literature (mainly novels), but most of the time as a tourist guide.

Working as a guide is my greatest love, because I love people (which is mutual!) and I love my country. I am proud not only to show visitors the beauty of Poland, but also help them to get to know and understand my country that experienced - as I did - many changes and survived - stronger and better.

I am an experienced, licensed guide, at first employed by big state tourist office, then doing that job free lance for other tourist offices and agencies. Also being recommended by my clients to their friends and acquaintances. I do private tours for individual visitors - following their interest and my knowledge. So I can show you Jewish Warsaw, as well as the catholic city with a lot of churches, or as a town where music is created and played. The town of Chopin, but also the place where the Mozart festival is held every summer.

Some tourists I met have Polish roots, many a time I helped them to find their families they had never seen before, or the places their parents come from. That makes such a trip fascinating and unforgettable - both for them and for me.

Questions and Answers
Showing Warsaw in different aspects - Jewish Warsaw, town with 100 churches, history within city walls, parks and palaces; including interiors of Royal Castle and Wilanow Palace; tailored tours.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

I have been active in tourist business for about 18 years. Before that I was a journalist, which is considered to be excellent background for guides. For some time I combined these two professional activities: journalism and guiding, at first free lance, then full time guide employed by Orbis, those days the oldest and the biggest company, widely known in Poland and abroad. Soon it appeared that I am successfull in guiding which is confirmed by many opinions of satisfied customers expressed in letters to travel agencies which recommended my services, or directly to me. It made me decide to work as a guide full time, and not to waste my ability of writing. I translate books from English into Polish (over 20 titles of novels translated by me have been already published).

2. What is your company's mission?

To show the beauty and history of my country, get clients interested in exploring Warsaw and Poland, then leave them fully satisfied, but still wanting to come back to see and experience more.

3. What does your company specialize in?

I specialize in finding family roots (for some years I did researches for international company of genealogists), also in guiding Jewish groups and individual clients, as well as catholic pilgrims wanting to get to know famous shrines and places of religious cult (in the footsteps of John Paul II, Saint Sister Faustina or St. Maximilian Kolbe).

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

I run one person tourist company. It means to be independent and responsible for everything. Also satisfaction of well done job can be shared only with my tourist.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

The most frequent requests are to show Jewish presence in the history and what remained of it, also finding family roots, wherever they can be found. Probably because we all want to know where we are from...

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

Renata was a wonderful tour guide. Very personal and relaxing, she was attentive to our interests. Renata showed again her good qualities: knowledge, intelligence, and willingness to adapt to our needs. She was an awesome tour guide and a very easy person to be with.
