In M20774 we are committed to the character of the city—its built environment, cultural heritage, and living fabric. We organize didactic walking strolls designed to help the erudite traveler appreciate and defend the city without overrunning it. We are focused in small groups of intellectually curious travelers. With no more than five other people, you’ll participate in an intimate, hands-on, conversational experience.
During your stay in Madrid, I will be your hosts, and I will organize for you a visit tailored to your needs, at your own pace, focused on those aspects that you can enjoy the most. It is my pleasure to serve as an ambassador for Madrid to its visitors. I love my city and I enjoy seeing my clients falling in love with it. Throughout the proposed tours you will discover, from a personal viewpoint, the most emblematic sites of Madrid, its artistic treasures, and its cultural and gastronomic life. We do not forget to include some less trodden places, which we especially like. We will also be delighted to design visits to neighboring sites, such as Toledo, El Escorial o Segovia, unforgettable places declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
We are convinced that our professional services will make your visit to Madrid and its environs truly memorable!
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
I started this business in September 2010.
2. What is your company's mission?
We promote and offer special guided tours around the region of Madrid. We sustain a reputation of quality through excellent service, customer care, and friendly, professional staff. Our guests are the focus of our company and we strive to surpass their expectations.
3. What does your company specialize in?
The company specializes in didactic walking tours with a difference. Our tours inspire our guests to be intellectually curious as they discover Madrid’s hidden art treasures and mysterious secrets.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
After working for 15 years as a sales manager in different telecom companies in Spain, I had my daughter and took a pause in my career in order to take care of her. During that time, we moved to Boston, MA, and I completed my education with a degree in Business Management. When I thought about going back to work, I decided to start my own business. I love Madrid and know the city very well. I am also a great people person, so I thought the best way to combine my skills would be to start a company providing tours of Madrid to foreigners. I am now launching my company and I am very excited about this new venture which represents a major turning point in my professional career.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
"Madrid of the Hapsburg court" This is popular because Madrid, Spain wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Museo del Prado (museum), one of the most popular tourist sights in the country. Whether you’re an art buff or not, you have to visit The Museo del Prado! It’s beautiful grounds, early 19th century architecture and huge art collection never disappoints!
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
When families tell me that I was SO wonderful with their kids because I really want to encourage young people to fall in love with Spanish art and culture.
