1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
M06029 was created in 2005. It started with the arrangement of diners between French people and international visitors, a service that we still offer.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our company's mission is to share the best of our French culture, make of your stay an enjoyable and unforgettable experience and develop relationship between people from various cultures.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We specialize in accommodation by the inhabitants - B&B's, apartment rentals - and theme tours.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
I am Laurence Monclard, founder of the company. I grew up in the camping site of my parents on the French Riviera. It was a lot of fun beeing with many other children and make new friends. It was the experience of all generations: relationships were nice and easy, often lead to long-lasting friendships and included people from various countries. When I arrived in Paris, urban tourism was not offering the same experience: Parisians and tourists did no live in the same world! I studied in the US and I started a career in large companies. After having learnt about sales, marketing and project management, I wanted to create my own company and develop new tourist services based on multicultural encounters.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Food is a good theme for us, well in our French culture and a basis for share and friendship. Our Pastry and chocolate tour, and our Bakery tour are the most popular.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
We are happy when the clients say it was the highlight of their trip.
