M06118 set out to create a range of experiences which would reveal the hidden delights of our country and offer trips which were truly “off the beaten track”. From small beginnings in 2000, our concept of the wilderness experience has proved ever more popular and we have grown into a dedicated team of wilderness guides and travel professionals, and are considered by many to be Scotland’s No 1 wilderness adventure operator.
Highly Commended in the Global Responsible Tourism Awards 2006.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
M06118 has been operating for 10 years and was born off the back of our founding director's adventures in the Highylands and Island of Scotland. They were having fun in an incredible landscape and felt that their memorable experiences should be shared with others.
2. What is your company's mission?
M06118 will be the leading UK specialist in the provision of inspirational and high quality wilderness and adventure travel experiences in Scotland and overseas.
3. What does your company specialize in?
M06118 specialise in small group walking and adventure holidays in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Our CEO and founder, Paul Easto, started M06118 in September 2000 with co-founders Neil and Gordon Birnie who were later joined by Stevie Christie.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
We have a selection of interesting itineraries covering activities like walking, sea kayaking, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking and to pick out one would be doing the rest an injustice. Each of our itineraries is innovative and unique but if I was to choose one it would be our Wilderness Walking in The Wilds of Assynt; it's such a rugged and dramatic landscape whose stand-alone mountains are often bathed in an atmospheric light, perfect for exploring on foot.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
One of our clients, Catriona McCoyle, eloquently summed up the travel experience everyone at M06118 works together to deliver. She wrote: "If your mission is to provide inspiring, memorable and high quality adventure travel experiences, then congratulations, mission accomplished! Your scale doesn't go high enough! I had an amazing trip which I will remember forever and can't stop telling everyone who will listen to me about it! My mind has been opened to all the opportunities in Scotland, I don't feel the need to go anywhere else."
