We provide Italian & English Language for Individual, Corporate or Group needs at our very own historic Villa, a Bed & Breakfast in an Italian seaside town on Italy's Adriatic Coast, near Pescara.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
A Canadian ex-pat long based in Italy, I have been teaching 25 years and appreciate the pleasures and difficulty of learning a new language and culture; a key to facilitating the learning process is living the lifestyle in an everyday fashion and setting; why the courses are catered to activities: shopping, going to market, strolling about town and seeing the sights; in other words, going about tour business like an Italian.
2. What is your company's mission?
Language is life, and time is precious, why we focus on having you learn at the most intensely pleasureful and educational level possible.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Personalized language tutoring and inter-cultural relations in Italian and English, especially aprreciated by managers and business people.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Luigi Monteferrante, an Italian-Canadian long-based in Italy, has been teaching 25 years. He also works as a translator/interpreter, corporate relocation officer. In the tourist industry since 2002, he manages his own B & B, a venue for arts and language workshops, and heads several tourist-related associations. He has also worked as Group Leader for Italian students studying English, and has spent much time in the UK and Ireland.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Newly established as a center for language studies, we have no 'experience' to boast about, except for my own teaching and cultural activities of 25 years. Most popular is the Bed & Breakfast, M06172, a historic Italian beach bouse whose guests are 90% foreigners: Scandinavians, North Americans, Brits -most of whom love the beaches, the sunshine, the food and wine, and the conversation.
