This 15 days best-selected China Highlights tour covers China’s yesterday, today and tomorrow. We will take you to the most important historical and modern cities in China. You will visit the major tour sites, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City in Beijing, Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an and the bund in Shanghai. You will also have a change to visit the “paradise city on earth” – Hangzhou, the picturesque city – Guilin and the “city of active” – Hong Kong.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Meet your guide upon arrival and be transferred to your comfortable hotel. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Beijing. Begin the day’s activity with a visit to Tian’anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world. Then, move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the “Forbidden City”, the biggest palace complex in the world. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. A Peking Duck Dinner concludes your first full day’s activities in China. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Beijing. Visit the enchanting Summer Palace, one of China’s largest and best-preserved royal gardens, where you can have a walk along the famous Long Corridor. In the afternoon, you will visit the Yonghe Lama Temple, the biggest Tibetan Buddhist Lama Temple in Beijing, and the most renowned in China (outside Tibet itself). Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Beijing. Today’s highlight is the visit of the Great Wall, one of the “Seven Wonders in the World” and a symbol of Chinese civilization. Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across mountains. Then, move on to visit the Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb) area where is for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Day 5: Beijing-Xian. After a relaxed breakfast at hotel this morning, you will take a ride in rickshaw through some old “Hutongs”, lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard). Fly to Xi'an (about 2 hours) and check in Hotel upon arrival. Visit Forest of Steles Museum where precious stone carvings and sculptures are kept. Enjoy a characteristic Dumpling Dinner at a local restaurant. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 6: Xi'an. Begin the day’s activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors of China's first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. Then, you will visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. (The entrance fee for climb up the Pagoda is not in the price included, if you want to climb up, please pay the charge on spot by yourselves.) Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: Xi'an - Hangzhou. Take a morning flight to Hangzhou, famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages. Visit Huqingyutang, a pharmacy shop and museum of traditional Chinese medicine. Then, you will visit the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan who set up Huqingyutang Drugstore and was called “the medicine king in south of the Yangtze River”. The former residence boasts 13 towers, Zhiyuan Garden, pavilions, terraces, a small bridge over a flowing stream and bright verandas, all ingeniously designed. You will also visit the Pagoda of Six Harmonies standing by Qiantang River. The extant pagoda is octagonal, has thirteen levels on the exterior but seven levels on the interior, and is 59.89 meters high. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Hangzhou. A full day tour is to appreciate the incomparably lovely West Lake with its soaring bridges and flower-bright islets. Enjoy a boat ride on West Lake. Visit the Huagang Park (Flower Harbor Park), the most attractive waterside park. Ancient Chinese people praised the West Lake area as a land of intoxicating beauty. Then, enjoy a walk along the Su Causeway that is spanned with six bridges offering different views, the willows tossing among blooming peach flowers in spring. Also, you will visit a Tea Museum showing the history and production of Chinese tea. Move on to visit the Meijiawu Tea House, the tea village of famous Dragon’s Well Tea. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 9: Hangzhou - Shanghai. Take a morning train to Shanghai (about 2 hours), the bustling commercial heart of China, known as “Paris of the East”. Visit the Bund. The splendid row of early 20th century European buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. Visit Yuyuan Garden - a well restored Suzhou-style garden, and take a walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. A fabulous Acrobatic Show concludes your first day in Shanghai. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: Shanghai. This morning you will visit marvelous Shanghai Museum, a leading attraction of the city since it opened in 1994, containing some priceless collections of paintings, porcelains and bronzes. Move on to check out the St. Ignatius Cathedral (Xujiahui Cathedral) built in 1846. Wander around the former French Concession represented by the leafy Fuxing Park and the architecture in the area. Then pay a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. You will have some free time in the afternoon to explore the city. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Shanghai - Guilin. Take a morning flight to Guilin (about 2 hours), one of China's top attractive destinations. Pay a visit Fubo Hill for a panoramic view of Guilin and Seven Star Park, named after the tale that the seven peaks of Mountain Qixing (Seven Star) were the seven stars in the north sky falling down to the earth. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 12: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin. Today’s highlight is cruising down the Li River, which stretches 83 kilometers from Guilin to Yangshuo. The cruise will give you a chance to savor the lovely view of the area’s extraordinary limestone peaks. The cruise ends in Yangshuo. Yangshuo is a charming small town with its main street lined with small hotels, countless souvenir shops and restaurants. Vist West Street. Then, drive back to Guilin (about 1.5 hours). Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 13: Guilin - Guangzhou. Fly to Guangzhou in the morning (about 1 hour). Begin today’s tour with visiting to the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, which is the most symbolized building of Guangzhou, and a key venue for the large-scale meetings and performances as well. Then visit the Memorial Hall of the Chen Family, also known as Guangdong Folk Art Museum, the largest, best-preserved and decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. Finally visit Temple of Six Banyan Trees (386-581A.D). Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 14: Guangzhou - Hong Kong. Go to Hong Kong by train (Attention: For the train, 1 piece of luggage (under 20kg) transfer will take about RMB 85) in the morning. Then, you will take a half-day guided tour of the Hong Kong Island. Climb to the top of Victoria Peak for spectacular views of Kowloon, the harbor, and the South China Sea. Visit the tranquil fishing village of Aberdeen, where life style seems unchanged for centuries. Also tour the beautiful Repulse Bay with sandy beaches. Includes: (B).

Day 15: Return from Hong Kong. Be transferred to the airport and board on your homebound flight. Includes: (B).

- Tour price not include the Sampan Ride at the Aberdeen and the Peak Cable Car to the Victoria Peak. Sampan ride: HKD60 per person, Peak Tram: HKD25 per person/one way.
- For the train, you need own to pay the luggage consignment fee, around HKD 85 within 20kg per piece of luggage.
- For the group less than 10 person, Seat-in-Coach service in Hong Kong.
