Most people visit Uganda solely to see gorillas, but on this safari you’ll see that the country is actually one of Africa’s top all round natural history destinations. In addition to primates you will see a fantastic variety of mammals and birds. You will explore remote places where Giraffes lurk, Elephants roam and Primates swing through the treetops of tropical rainforests. See the most spectacular falls, Hippos, Zebras, Buffalos, the rare shoebill and many more species. The short flight of no more than one and half-hours, allows you to cut down on the long and tiresome drives that are sometimes involved in visiting the parks.

Day 1: Arrive / Entebbe.
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your driver/ guide will warmly welcome you and transfer to Hotel Lake Victoria for the overnight. You will be briefed later that evening on your safari. The afternoon is at leisure. You can take a walk to either botanical gardens or visit the Wildlife Education Center. Overnight Hotel Lake Victoria

Day 2: Fly Kajjansi / Pakuba.
This morning after breakfast, you will be driven to a small private airstrip in Kajjansi for a private Charter flight to Murchison falls area, where our vehicles and driver guides will be waiting to receive you, game drive on your way to the Paraa lodge. Take an afternoon boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This is an experience not to be missed! The launch trip gives you a chance to get up close with Nile hippos and to see the huge Nile crocodiles and other wildlife that may come down to drink from the river. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Overnight Paraa Lodge

Day 3: Murchison Falls Area.
After breakfast you will go for an early morning game drive on the rolling plains where you can view lions, giraffe, hartebeest, Buffalo and elephant as well many other mammals of the park. For the birders, this area supports the secretary bird, black-chested snake eagle, tawny and marshal eagles and many others. This is a beautiful drive across the African Savannah down to Lake Albert, where the Albert Nile heads north to Sudan. In the afternoon cross the River Nile by ferry to the southern bank, game drive to the top of the Murchison Falls, where you can have a closer look at the gorge where the Nile squeezes into a 7 meter gorge dropping 43 m. The Falls are spectacular and thunderous with a beautiful rainbow displayed on sunny days. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Overnight Paraa lodge

Day 4: Fly Pakuba, Murchison Falls National Park to Mweya, Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, you will game drive on your way to Pakuba airstrip for your private charter flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have fantastic aerial views of the snow-capped 16,000-foot Rwenzori Mountains-the famed "Mountains of the Moon" and the crater lakes. This 767-square-mile conservation area is bordered on the North East by Lake George and on the South West by Lake Edward; its western border adjoins the Zaire Parc Du Virunga. Land at the Mweya airstrip where your driver guides will be waiting for you to take you to the Mweya lodge. Lunch at the lodge, later in the afternoon; take a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. This fresh water system, joining Lake Edward and Lake George, boasts of the highest concentration of Nile Hippos in the world. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth / Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (4 - 5 Hours Drive).
This morning after breakfast, you set off for Bwindi, through Ishasha, area of the park hoping to see the famous tree climbing lions (weather permitting) and then through the scenic area known as the "Switzerland" of East Africa, to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your gorilla treks. In the evening you will visit to the Batwa (pygmies) community or go for a forest walk. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Engagi Lodge

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking.
The next two days will be for gorilla tracking. You will rise early each day and after breakfast, be driven to a point in the park where your hike will begin. Well-trained guides lead you to a point where the gorillas were encountered the day before. The duration of the hike is determined by the gorillas whose continuous search for food requires a nomadic lifestyle. The trek can take from 1-9 hours at altitudes in excess of 7,500ft and over rough and steep terrain. Although the hike is physically demanding, the beauty of the forest and its inhabitants make your experience extremely interesting. Upon encountering the gorillas, your fatigue is quickly forgotten. The gorillas are not tame, but they have been scientifically habituated to accept the presence of quiet and non-threatening observers. Each strictly regulated 60- minutes visit passes all too quickly, and you must depart, leaving the gorillas to their fragile existence. You will take a packed lunch and water for your meal and picnic in the forest. Porters are available at the park headquarters to help you carry. Return to your accommodation at the edge of the park. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Engagi Lodge

Day 8: Second Gorilla Trek.
After breakfast, you head for the forest for the second gorilla trek. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Engagi Lodge

Day 9: Bwindi / Entebbe / Departure.
This morning you will take a short drive from your camp to the nearby Kayonza airstrip for your private flight back to Entebbe. At a distance you will be able to see the hills and plains of Rwanda and the Rift Valley dropping away towards Lake Edward and the Congo. Below are the rolling farmlands around the Kabale area, commonly known as the "Switzerland of East Africa". As you approach Entebbe, watch out for aerial view of Lake Victoria. Drive a short distance to Lake Victoria Hotel where day rooms have been booked for you to re-pack. You will have a choice of either relaxing by the pool, or taking a walk to nearby botanical gardens.
