Come join us on the Wanganui River, this river has mostly grade III rapids with one grade IV section. Keep this in mind if you are wanting all the excitement of whitewater rafting without the added danger of grade V. We stop at natural hot pools on the riverside for lunch and a relaxing soak in the thermal waters. This trip also involves a helicopter flight as there are no roads to access the river.

A beautiful back country trip with one grade three rapid and gentle fun grade 2 rapids for the rest of the journey. The guide will stop by a seagull breeding ground, and then take the group to the natural hot pools in the river that they can soak in after the trip which are amazing!
