Day 1:Meet and greet at Mexico City International Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mexico City.
Transfer to Patzcuaro, visiting en route the beautiful city of Morelia, a perfect example of a Spanish Colonial City, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit includes the Cathedral, the Governor Palace, the Martir Plaza, the Acueduct and its typical Candies Market. Overnight in Patzcuaro. (B.).
Visit the House of the Eleven Patios, the cathedral of our lady of health, the Gertrudis Bocanegra Library –with its murals painted by famous muralist Juan O´Gorman-, the Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza and its typical Indian market; continue to Guadalajara. Overnight in Guadalajara. (B.).
Day 4:Tequila – Tlaquepaque.
Departure to the “Tequila” region that is also a cultural and historic heritage site; at the Amatitlan village visitors will go to the Hacienda San José del Refugio, which hosts one of the country´s best Tequila distilleries, to see the whole manufacturing tequila process. After this visit, we continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where its inhabitants are dedicated to glassblowing manufacturing and all kinds of handcrafts. Overnight in Guadalajara (B.).
The day starts at the historical district visiting the Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the main square, the Government Palace and the Cabañas Orphanage with their famous murals painted by Orozco, which are cultural and historic heritage sites. Overnight in Guanajuato. (B.).
Day 6:Guanajuato – San Miguel De Allende.
The tour starts visiting the Basilica, the University, its mansions, its temples, its picturesque and narrow Colonial streets. Its underground streets (former riverbeds) and the famous Callejon del Beso (The Kissing Alley). Downtown Guanajuato is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to San Miguel de Allende, arrival and visit to the city recently named an UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has beautiful Colonial mansions, colonial streets and alleys, impressive colonial churches and its new Gothic style Parish church at the main square, symbol of this beautiful City. Overnight in San Miguel de Allende. (B.).
Departure to Querétaro, which is also a cultural and historic heritage site to visit its cathedral, its convents, its mansions, its streets, squares and the alleys, and the world famous convent of the crosses. Return to Mexico City, arrival at your hotel. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.).
Day 8:Mexico City.
The city tour begins visiting the cultural and historic heritage downtown with the National Palace and its beautiful murals, painted by the famous muralist Diego Rivera, the Constitution Square or “Zocalo”, the Aztec Templo Mayor and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Downtown Mexico City is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour follows with the visit to the Chapultepec Park, an important Residential area of Mexico City, and the “Zona Rosa” vibrant district with restaurants and shops. In the afternoon, the Mesoamerican cultures best museum by far: The Museum of Anthropology. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.).
