Day 1: Upon your arrival at Ulaanbaatar (UB) railway station or airport, meet our Team and drive to visit the 40 meter /~133,3 feet Genghis Khan Statue on horseback, on the bank of the Tuul River at Tsonjin Boldog (55 km/34 mi) East of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. The statue is symbolically pointed east towards his birthplace. It is on top of the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, a visitor centre, itself 10 metres (32 ft 10 in) tall, with 36 columns representing the 36 khans from Genghis to Ligdan Khan. Visitors walk to the head of the horse through its chest and neck of the horse, where they can have a panoramic view. The attached museum has exhibitions relating to the Bronze Age and Xiongnu archaeological cultures in Mongolia, which show everyday utensils, belt buckles, knives, sacred animals, etc. and a second exhibition on the Great Khan period in the 13 and 14th centuries which has ancient tools, goldsmith subjects and some Nestorian crosses and rosaries. Afterward, drive to Gorkhi/Terelj National Park (50 km/23 mil). On the way, stop to visit the 100 Lamas cave. Dinner. Free time. Overnight in tourist fixed gers camp in private. (B/L/D).
Day 2: Breakfast. Excursion to the Turtle shaped original giant rock. Hiking and trekking to the Arryabal Meditation Temple on the top of mountain. Visit a Nomadic breeder's family and experience the traditional customs and lifestyle of local residents. Lunch. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar (55 km/25 miles, +2hrs-depending on the traffic!). Transfer (*not included any accommodation, and any services in Ulaanbaatar city-upon on early request!). (B/L). Tour Ends.
