Experience an Alaska spring that most visitors never see and even only a few Alaska residents ever witness. As the multitude of thousands upon thousands of tons of Pacific herring move into the shallow ocean waters along the shoreline to spawn, a myriad of hungry predators including seals, bald eagles, sea lions, humpback whales, orca and a host of sea birds create a wondrous spectacle as the prey upon the vulnerable herring.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Board yacht Northern Song and cruise to destination. Greeting buffet and dinner included.

Days 2-7: Our daily course will be dictated by what wildlife occurrences are for each respective day as well as what the groups decides is preference. Whale behavior like never seen before! Rare early season humpback whale cooperative bubble-net feeding lunges. Bald eagles diving on shallow herring. Herds of sea lions rushing vulnerable schools of herring. Huge brown bears foraging on beach grasses and sedges along the shoreline. It’s a spring in Alaska that few visitors ever have the chance to experience. Fresh seafood meals prepared by our on board chef from seafood caught by you! Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Home departure. End of the tour. Includes: (B), (L).
