Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to South Africa! Arrive at Jo’burg international Airport and enjoy the summer here at this time of year! Collect your rental car and head off to you first stylish Country Hotel just outside Pretoria! Close enough if you are still up to a sightseeing, and real country side, African style with some lions around!

Days 2 - 3: Off you go, to the "more-wild Africa". On the easy N4 ca 4 hours east to the area of the famous Kruger Park wilderness area, which is just as big as Israel! Your wonderful and peaceful accommodation will be a Mango and Lychee Farm with tropical Gardens and lovely Chalets, just at the foot of the Panorama Route with spectacular Sightseeing spots like Blyde River Canyon, God Window, lots of Waterfalls, Pilgrims Rest. All the details will be in your travel package, so you won’t miss anything!

Day 4: Enter the Kruger via Kruger Gate and head on to your Wilderness Camp in the central area, Olifants. Enjoy your camp with a nice pool and a beautiful setting. On your way to the camp, theres plenty of wildlife around you, so just take your time and watch out carefully in this area, we humans are the "guest’s" don’t leave the car. Late night game drive in the Kruger National Park on an open safari vehicle with a Kruger National Park game ranger, where you will witness the perfect sunset after another splendid African day.

Days 5 - 6: After a hearty breakfast at the Camp, make your (slow) way out of Kruger again and head further west to one of the private Game Reserves around. Here you will be in the middle of the bush far away from any source of light or noise and the area is famous for the lions and for leopards ! On the open Land rovers you will experience African wildlife.

You’ll feel like David Livingstone, "out of Africa" in your very special Tent Chalets in the Bush Camp. Enjoy the awesome atmosphere, the lovely food and the caring rangers and be grateful for the camps fence, that keeps you out of the circle of life. The very few vehicles of the private game reserves can really off road to follow the tracks and the animals are used to these two or three "stinking-and-moving-bushes", and as long as you remain silent on the Landrover, you will come unbelievable close to the wild.

Day 7: After a last Game Drive and brunch back to civilization via the "fast" N1 Highway to Johannesburg. You will stay outside of the big city, in a very special place. Lesedi a Cultural Village that shows us some insight into the life of the native nation. You will be entertained with a cultural show as well as dancing and feasting on typical African cuisine this evening.

Feel the pulsating rhythm of mysterious and magical Africa as you re-live the excitement and romance of the days of King Shaka and his fellows from the other tribes. Experience the sight of assegaai-wielding warriors, share the fascinating secrets of the Sangomas and witness traditional customs such as tribal dancing, spear making and the beer-drinking ceremonies. This is a truly memorable experience.

Days 8-9: After a long breakfast buffet, you go back to Jo’burg Airport ( 30 min), drop your rental car and off you go in ca 2 hours to Port Elizabeth, the northern tip of the famous garden route. Your new rental car is awaiting you and today its just 70 km north to the gates of the Addo Elephant National Park. Again, you’ll find a stylish accommodation, a real mud-chalet in beautiful surroundings and south African hospitality. How about a self-drive in the park area? With a little bit of luck and some patience you can experience the feeling of being part of an elephant herd.

Days 10-11: Further south, pass some of the beautiful beaches of the garden route and pay a visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park on your way to Knysna. Knysna is the heart of the garden route and from forest-elephants to whale and dolphin cruises theres so much to explore. And the famous Knysna-Oysters. The featherbed tour in one of the bird sanctuary is a rough trip in a 4x4 or a smooth sundowner cruise on the lagoon or simply enjoy your nice chalet, above one of the most beautiful beaches of the Indian ocean in this part of the world.

Days 12-14: After breakfast take the last peace of the garden route down to the south westernmost tip of the continent, Cape Town. Enjoy "mother city Cape Town". Take the scenic South Peninsula Tour of the Cape today taking in the views of Hout Bay as you do the incredibly scenic drive over Chapman’s Peak and on to Cape Point, where many like to believe the two oceans meet. Take a walk up to the lighthouse and take some of the most memorable pictures of your travels, as well as get a photo opportunity at the world famous Cape of Good Hope sign.

Continue along the coastline and visit the Boulders Beach Penguins before taking a drive through the navy town of Simon’s Town. Your centrally located accommodation is ideal to explore Cape Town on your own. From the Reception, Taxis can be arranged at any time and the famous Waterfront can even be reached by an easy walk. Enjoy different Winery’s between Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Visit one of the big ones like the beautiful Boschendal and we’ll tell you about some hidden secrets.

Day 15: Last minute shopping or a very quick wine tasting and you will go back to the Airport (20 min) and take off for (hopefully summerish) home or if you want to stay here even that can be arranged.
