We have lunch on an isolated high country Merino farm in the picturesque Medway Valley, here guests are treated to a healthy meal of especially prepared Merino meat, fresh salads, home baked delights and our destinctive local Awatere wines.
Some well known local wine labels include Clifford Bay, Koura Bay, and Vavasour. Learn of different farming practices, the history and local stories along the way. Enjoy an overnight stay at a high country station where you will have time to unwind and feel at home with good old fashioned country hospitality. Traveling further on up the Awatere Valley we reach the mighty Molesworth Station.
