Day 1: Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul, meeting and assistance and then transfer to your selected hotel in Istanbul. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Istanbul. Full day Istanbul sightseeing tour with lunch, including the Topkapi Palace Museum, the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia or St. Saviour and the Grand Bazaar.
Day 3: Istanbul. Morning at leisure in the city for your last visits and shopping. Early in the afternoon transfer to the port in order to embark the 11 day cruise to the Greek islands, Italy and France.
Day 4: Mykonos. Morning on board. In the afternoon arrival at the famous island of Mykonos. An international “jet-set” known for its beautiful sandy beaches, hundreds of tiny white chapels and incredible night life.
Day 5: Athens / Corinth Canal. Early morning arrival at Piraeus port the biggest port of Greece. Athens the capital of Greece, cradle of democracy and birthplace of the Western Civilization is a vibrant city where old and new co-exists harmonically. The majestic Parthenon rises above the city, its ancient glory still visible in the time-worn stone. Continue cruising the Corinth canal, 6,3 kilometers in length a junction of international sea communications. Corinth was one of the most important cities of ancient Greece and played a major role in the missionary work of the Apostle Paul.
Day 6: Sicily/Messina (Italy) Morning on board. In the afternoon arrival at Messina, the closest step-off point to Sicily with a delightful medieval character. From Messina you can take a tour to Taormina, a beautiful city overlooking Mount Etna.
Day 7: Corsica/Ajaccio (France). Enjoy a relaxing morning on board. Early in the evening arrival at the graphic Ajaccio Gulf. This rugged coastline, sculptured by the wind and sea, offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Corsica.
Day 8: Marseilles (France). Today’s port of call is Marseilles. Part of the region of Provence, this ancient seaport – the oldest city in France – is now the second largest city after Paris. You will enjoy a walk through the picturesque old port of this cosmopolitan city rich in history, culture and tales of the sea.
Day 9: Genoa (Italy). Morning arrival at the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Genoa has a long and proud history as one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean. Home to an outstanding maritime museum and aquarium, the city has the second largest medieval quarter in Europe with superb examples of Gothic architecture, perfect for a stroll.
Day 10: A sea. Enjoy a full day on board, both relaxing and soaking up the sun, reading a good book from the library, running for a prize with one of the quizzes or learning some new Greek dance steps. Start the evening with your favorite cocktail in one of the lounges of on deck and after a delicious dinner; enjoy an international show time, disco and casino.
Day 11: Olympia (Greece). Today’s port of call is Katakolon, from where the ancient city of Olympia can be visited. A sacred sanctuary built for the quadrennial games dedicated to Zeus during which all hostilities ceased in the name of athletic competition. Much was destroyed when the games were outlawed as a pagan festival in 393 AD, but visitors can still see the Temple of Zeus and the stadium.
Day 12: Santorini (Greece) Morning arrival at one of the most breathtaking Greek island, Santorini. In the town of Fira white-washed houses, narrow streets, open air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to steep cliffs, accessible by cable car or mule.
Day 13: Istanbul (Turkey). Arrival in Istanbul and disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to your selected hotel and balance of the day at leisure.
Day 14: Istanbul / Airport. At the indicated time according to your departure flight, you will be transferred to the airport.
