Day 1: Papallacta Hotsprings. Today begins after leaving the city of Quito, heading towards the east to the mighty slopes of the Andes Mountains, where the Amazon lies below. Soaring 4,000 meters above sea level, overwhelming views of the Amazon rainforest can be admired from the slopes of the Andes Mountains. From here, you and your party will be welcomed by inviting, calming, and refreshing hot springs at Papallacta. Next, you will partake in a journey through the Andes terrain to explore and finish the day when checking into the Amazon Jungle Lodge to prepare for the upcoming adventures.

Day 2: River Rafting down the Anzu River. The day starts with a taste of the mighty Amazon by river rafting down the Anzu River. Here you will have the opportunity to learn about the tradition, mystery and culture of the jungle while testing your teamwork and river rafting skills. Beautiful scenery surrounds you as you make your way down the river. Lunch awaits you at the finish line and once you return to your hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 3: River Rafting on the Jatunyacu River. Today will be filled with exciting rapids, exploration, and extreme adventure. The day begins by hiking into the Llanganates National Park, where you can calm your nerves before partaking in rafting down the rapids of the famous Jatunyacu River. Here, you can relax in the natural swimming pools and prepare for what lies ahead. Next, the navigation down Jatunyacu River begins. With fun waves, large holes, raging rapids, followed by extreme volumes of water, today is nothing but impressive. Beautiful scenery with vibrant flora, unique birds, and a variety of wildlife, surround you as you explore through Jatunyacu. Try your luck by panning for gold before heading back to the lodge.
