A pre- or post-cruise addition in Paris or Nice can be conveniently added since these cities are connected to each others by France's High Speed Train, the TGV. Your "floating hotel" will of course take you to the historic city of Avignon. Optional shore excursions along the way include vineyards for wine tastings, countryside chateaux, churches, tranquil villages and animated cities with tree-lined avenues, sidewalk cafes and ancient monuments dating from Roman times.
