We will also visit Playa Carola, a beautiful beach, before returning to the hotel to rest and eat dinner.
After breakfast, we will enjoy a full outdoors excursion beginning with a hike to “Mirador de la Soledad”, where we will enjoy magnificent views of San Cristobal. An outdoors lunch will be followed by a trip to the Highlands, where we will endemic quite different to that of Santa Cru or Isabela islands. We will also go through After a long day out.

Galapagos Finches, Bird Wizards, as well as endemic vegetation will surround us.
After lunch we will start our 45 minute hike to the beautiful white sand beach called Tortuga Bay. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos: white sand, cool surf, pelicans, fish, sea iguanas and other species of wildlife. We will return to the hotel to rest before heading to dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast we go to the dock to take our speed boat L/P Oceano, or one similar, to start the trip to Floreana which lasts approximately 1.45 hrs. The first stop is for snorkeling is Champion Bay, and from there we move to Endervy Islet. Afterwards, we will come back to the speedboat to go to Puerto Velasco Ibarra for lunch.
In the afternoon we will get ready for our visit to the Floreana Highlands, where we will see the caves that were used by pirates years ago, the Asylum of Peace (viewpoint), and the ancient habitat of Wittmer, one of the earliest settlements on the island. We are going to have the opportunity to watch how inhabitants extracted fresh water from the island, and we will be able taste this vital liquid. Return to Puerto Ayora for dinner and overnight.
In the morning after breakfast, we will begin the visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station. Here we we will be able to observe Lonesome George, the last living Giant Tortoise of his species. A large variety of Giant Tortoises in captivity is also taken care off in this place.
After a short visit to the Art Galleries of Puerto Ayora we will eat lunch. Afterwards, we will take our speed boat Oceano, or the public speedboat, to Isabela Island ( at 14:00 pm). After approximately two and half hours navigation we will be greeted by the guide and check in at our hotel. The lonely islet takes its name from0 a large crevice holding of very clear and calm waters where white-tip sharks known as “Tintoreras” come daily to rest on the bottom. We can also observe penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas on the surroundings. We will also cool off a little by snorkeling with sharks as well as other colorful tropical fish that characterize the lively waters of Isabela (tube, mask, fins will be included).
In the afternoon, after lunch, we will get close to the Isabela Turtles at the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center. We will continue towards the historical site “The Wall Of Tears”, an enormous lava block wall built by prisoners while Isabela was used as penal colony from 946 to 1959. Due to the arduous labor and harsh conditions in which the prisoners lived, this site is known as “El Muro de las Lagrimas”. Additionally, we will visit a small lava tunnel and enjoy the view from Mirador Orchilla, Estero de Isabela, and check out the mangrove populated and idyllic Playa del Amor. Dinner and hotel accommodation will be provided.
