Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Lake Awassa. Arrive in Addis Ababa Bole International airport, meet with your guide and head to restaurant for breakfast. Leave Addis for the drive to Awassa through a Ethiopia Rift Valley Lakes system. On your way, have a stop at Lake Zeway to spot so many bird species. Late in the afternoon, arrive in Awassa. O/N Hotel.

Day 2: Fish Market and Arbaminch. After an early breakfast, walk around Lake Awassa to visit the fish market, and spot different bird species and fish product of the Lake including Tiger fish. Start driving to Arbaminch via Alaba and Welaita Sodo town. There will be lunch in Sodo. O/N Paradise Lodge.

Day 3: Chencha and Lake Chamo. AM. Drive to top of Gughe mountain on which the Dorze tribes settled. The Dorzes were once warriors and now turned to agriculturalist. Live in a beehive shaped hut, these tribes are famouse by their weaving culture. You will be introduced by your guide how these people are living. Back to Arba Minch. After lunch, boat trip on Lake chamo to visit the Crocodile Market and Hippo farm. Spot so many bird species. O/N. Paradise Lodge.

Day 4: Arba Minch to Turmi. Check out from your hotel for the drive to the lower Omo valley region. Around Konso, you will spot a terracing done by the Konso people. Lunch stop in Weito- the market place for the nearby Tsemay tribes. P.M. Head to Turmi; on the way visit the Erbore Tribes who have similar culture with the Borena Oromo tribes. O/N Lodge.

Day 5: Dassenech Tribes and Turmi Market. AM. Drive to visit Dassenech tribes who are living to the other side of Omo River. You will cross the River by local boat to visit their village. Back to Turmi and visit the Hamer market in Turmi(Monday), visit also Hamer village. O/N Buska Lodge

Day 6: Turmi to Jinka. Head to visit another Omo Valley tribes whop settled at the shore of Omo River - The Karo Tribes - who are agro-pastoralists and considered to be the master of Body painters. Picnic lunch on the way. In the afternoon, drive to Jinka via Key Afer market of Bena and Tsemay tribes. O/N Jinka Resort.

Day 7: Mursi Village and Museum. Drive to Mago National park to process the entry permit for the park to visit the Mursi tribes. These tribes are famouse by their lower lip plate(for women) and the Donga or stick fighting(for men)-believed to be the path to boyhood to adulthood. The Mursis live in Mago national park territory. After lunch break, visit South Omo Museum and Research center. Also visit the village of Ari tribes. O/N Jinka Resort.

Day 8: Jinka to Arbaminch. Drive back to Arbaminch, via Weito and Konso tribes. O/N. Paradise Lodge

Day 9: Back to Addis Ababa, via Welaita Sodo road. Enjoy with the surrounding landscape and visit the gurage village. Spot also the Tiya Stella field. In the evening you will catch the international flight after have your dinner and enjoy with the traditional live music in Ethiopia Cultural restaurant.
