Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha. Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport meet and greet then transfer to Ilboru Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Arusha – Meserani Snake Park – Tarangire National Park. Depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park via Meserani Snake Park & Maasai Museum Then proceed to Tarangire National Park. Clients will have hot lunch in camp then proceed for an afternoon game drive. Returning to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park. Clients will have an early morning game drive then return to Camp for late breakfast, after breakfast clients will depart with pick lunch boxes for a full day game. Returning to Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tarangire National Park – Mto Wa Mbu – Lake Manyara National Park. On this day, clients will depart with picnic lunch boxes to Lake Manyara National Park, once at Mto Wa Mbu clients will have a fruit testing excursion at the local market clients will test some exotic fruits like Red bananas, Custard Apples and other fruits of the season. Later in the day clients will enter Lake Manyara National Park spend the afternoon game watching till late afternoon, come out of the park and proceed to Kirurumu Luxury Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Kirurumu Luxury Tented lodge – Lake Natron. After breakfast clients will depart from Kirurumu Luxury tented lodge to Lake Natron via Engaruka. On the way stopping at the sunken crater which the Maasai call Shimo La Mungu (A meteorite Crater) from her clients will then proceed to Lake Natron and have an excursion to the water falls which is a Natural Jacuzzi. Returning to Lake Natron bush camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park. After breakfast clients will depart from the bush camp. Clients will then drive up the Great Rift Valley stop at the view point where clients will get a fantastic panoramic view of the area. From here clients will then proceed to the Village of Malabo then to Nasera Rock and enter Serengeti National Park from Naabi Hill gate Game drive on route while proceeding towards the camp clients will meet the crew who would have set up the camp in this very special area of Ngorongoro Serengeti Ecosystem.
Days 7-9: Serengeti National Park. These 3 days are spent exploring Serengeti National Park. Clients game drives are adopted to the animal position.
In November – March: In this season normally approx. 2.5 million animals are on their “Great Migration” into southern Serengeti! According to the rainfalls in these months the herds move southwards. You will have the chance to participate in this worldwide unique spectacle! As all our safaris have no limit of mileage and time, clients will get to know the Serengeti in total - clients will also therefore also visit Ngong Hill and Moru Kopjes also known as “Islands in the Sea of Grass”.
In June – October: This season is also called “cat’s time”, because all big cats are going hunting more as the big herds are standing in the North, in Maasai Mara.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
Depart from Serengeti National Park after an early breakfast visiting Oldupai Gorge the proceed to Ngorongoro Crater From midday on clients will experience the great variety and density of animals in the second largest Caldera on earth. The most beautiful game-drives you may experience in the late afternoon: Most of the people have left the crater-floor, the light gets soft and the activity of the wild animal’s increases. Please have a sufficient quantity of film-rolls! Clients will take more pictures of this fantastic African landscape, flora and fauna than you have ever expected. Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater – Empakai Crater
After an early breakfast clients will depart to Empakai Crater Very few people have experienced this extraordinary excursion, which is on the itinerary of today. Passing the slopes of the Olmoti Crater you will be fascinated by the scenery of Embulbul Depression, Loolmalassin- and Empakai Crater. On a really difficult track we will “ride” you to the rim of Empakai Crater (2700m). The Caldera is edged by 600m high, steep, jungle walls and its floor is covered with a green glimmering lake - the seasonal home of millions of flamingos. With some luck, clients may see them. This excursion offers the possibility, that you will meet Maasai in their untouched environment, not invaded by tourists. An armed ranger will accompany clients. Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Kilimanjaro International Airport. On this day of Safari clients will depart with leisure to Arusha from Ngorongoro Crater, clients will have shopping opportunities on the way to Arusha. Once in Arusha clients will have a day room at KIA Lodge ,then in the evening clients will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Clients fly back home.
