The tents are set in a stunning position on the shore of a soda lake, at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Views across the lake, especially those from the huge granite boulder behind the camp at sunset, are superb.

Though this area is isolated and little visited it is situated conveniently close to the route between some of Northern Tanzania's most popular National Parks. It offers an exclusive destination plus awesome scenery and a chance to visit the Hadzabee, one of the last click-speaking hunter gatherer tribes. A beautiful tented camp on the shore of Lake Eyasi offering luxurious accommodation under canvas, the attractions of this fascinating area include meeting with the Hadzabee hunter gather tribe, swimming, walking, and bird watching. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch clients will experience the great variety and density of animals in the second largest Caldera on earth. The most beautiful game-drives clients may experience in the late afternoon: Most of the people have left the crater-floor, the light gets soft and the activity of the wild animals increases. Please have a sufficient quantity of film-rolls with you! You will take more pictures of this fantastic African landscape, flora and fauna than you have ever expected. Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Day 6: Empakai Crater

Very few people have experienced this extraordinary excursion, which is on the itinerary of today. Passing the slopes of the Olmoti Crater you will be fascinated by the scenery of Embulbul Depression, Loolmalassin- and Empakai Crater. On a really difficult track we will “ride” you to the rim of Empakai Crater (2700 m). The Caldera is edged by 600 m high, steep, jungle walls and its floor is covered with a green glimmering lake - the seasonal home of millions of flamingos. With some luck, clients may see them. This excursion offers the possibility, that clients will meet Maasai in their untouched environment, not invaded by tourists. An armed ranger will accompany you which open the chance to descend to the crater floor (tough path!). Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Includes: (FB).

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park. Passing Ngorongoro crater rim clients descend through a really impressive landscape down to Oldupai Gorge. There clients will find the most complete and eldest proofs of human development. Stop for the information about the cradle of mankind! Continue to the heart of Serengeti; Dinner and Overnight: Special campsite In Serengeti

Days 8 – 11: Serengeti National Park

Clients will have plenty of time to explore the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world with an incredible Wildlife. Clients journey is adapted to clients travel period: in this season normally approx. 2.5 million animals are on their “Great Migration” into southern Serengeti! According to the rainfalls in these months the herds move southwards. You will have the chance to participate in this worldwide unique spectacle! As our safaris have no limit of mileage and time, you will get to know the Serengeti in total – clients will therefore also visit Ngong Hill and Moru Kopjes - known as “Islands in the Sea of Grass”. Clients take there time to have a look, rest and enjoy! Dinner and Overnight: Special camp site In Serengeti.

Days 12: Serengeti National Park - Ndutu Woodlands. On this day of safari clients will move to a lodge in Ndutu Woodlands, by doing so it will give the crew enough time to move the camp from Serengeti to Nasera rock. Dinner and overnight: Ndutu Safari lodge.

Days 13-14: Ndutu Woodlands - Nasera Rock

After breakfast, with an armed ranger clients will do a walking safari in Ndutu woodlands, return to the lodge for hot lunch and then depart to Nasera rock via game drive. Excursion to the Fig tree (if clients wish to) Drive on dusty, nearly never used trails to the north - an excursion into a lost wilderness, clients will find a fig tree in untouched Maasai land, north of Oldupai and close to the Gol Mountains. Even if clients are not so interested in trees, this tree might tell you about the last 1000 years. We found this tree about 14 years ago and used to talk for hours with him. We are proud to show our lonely friend and you will not forget this “cathedral of a tree”! Dinner and overnight: Nasera Special Campsite. Includes: (FB).

Day 15: Nasera Rock -Malambo - Lake Natron. Passing by Malambo you will reach Lake Natron surrounded by Shompole (Kenya) in the North, opposite Gelai and next to Oldonyo Lengai - the Maasai holy mountain. A tough track leads to our tented Lodge at River Ngarasero. Dinner and overnight Sengo Tented Camp (Basic Lodge). Includes: (FB).

Day 16: Lake Natron – Arusha. Today’s drive is going to be long and exhausting. Along the nearly vertical walls of the Rift our track takes us back into civilization. Return to Arusha. Dinner and overnight: Mt. Meru Game Lodge.

Day 17: Mt. Meru Game Lodge – Kilimanjaro International Airport. After breakfast clients will have a day room at Mt. Meru Game Lodge and then clients will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport clients fly back home.

- The track to the Fig tree is extremely dusty and impassable if it is raining. We will build up our camp at Gol Mountains. With 2 Maasai guides clients will start an hour walk through Olkarien Gorge.
- During the months of December to March: Maybe clients will also meet the Great Migration here (This all depends on the rains). With rain fall this excursion could become a real adventure.
- From the months June - November: clients will proceed to lobo Wildlife lodge North of Serengeti National Park and then drive from lobo to Warsaw to Loliondo to Lake Natron as Nasera rock becomes very dry and there are no animals in this area at this time of the year.
