Explore some of the best beaches on the Green Coast from the car-free fishing village of Ponta Negra. On this trip we spend the night in a fishing village on the edge of the jungle in one of the most remote parts of the Juatinga Peninsular Eco-reserve. Although located mid-way between two of the largest cities in South America, Ponta Negra often feels as though it has been forgotten in time. Surrounded by wild and unspoilt Atlantic Rainforest and without mains electricity the local Caiçara fishing people continue to live off the sea.
