Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Virunga Gorilla National Park (Congo) are on the edge of the western rift valley. Both parks are also rich in birds, chimps, monkeys and butterflies. Bwindi is one of the largest natural forests in East Africa, with both montane and lowland forest. About half of the world's population of mountain gorillas - about 350 animals - are found in Bwindi. Djomba and Bukima in Congo, have their unique features. Seven gorilla families are open to visitors in Uganda (Rushegura, Mubare, and Habinyanja accessed through Buhoma; Ruhija accessed through Ruhija; and, Ishongi, Nkuringo, and Gahinga accessed through Kisoro); six in Congo. Other activities include volcano climbing, guided nature walk in the forest for primates, birds and butterflies or enjoy the breathtaking landscape!

Day 1: Arrival
On your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet our drive who will transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for an overnight. O/N Hotel Africana or Hotel Bougainviller or Sheraton (BB).

Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi
Take a drive South West of the country through several landscapes and amazing sceneries en route to Bwindi South. This trip can possibly be reduced to 3 days express for 3 days luxury by using a charter flight to Kisoro (45 min). O/N Gorilla forest camp or Heritage Hotel Kisoro (FB).

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
You will go to the jungle at around 8:00 am to Track Gorillas after breakfast in the morning, this is the climax of the tour gorilla tracking can take 3 -9 hours on walking in the jungle before one returns to his/her accommodation, the jungle, precipitous landscape and rain may make the tour challenging but with a close encounter face-face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will ever have in life. O/N Gorilla forest camp or Heritage Hotel Kisoro (FB).

Day 4: Bwindi – Kampala
Take a gentle drive back to the city through Ankole – Masaka dry corridor, with a stopover in Masaka town for lunch and then ensue Kampala. You will transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
