Day 1: Tana.
Our representative will welcome you once arriving at Ivato international airport and then transferring you in your private car heading to your hotel which is located in the city center for your first night at Louvre (Top) or Hotel Brajas or Chalet des Roses (high-midrange), in BB.

Day 2: Tana - Andasibe.

Andasibe is our destination of today. So, after breakfast, your tour guide will meet you again at your hotel and then you start the day driving to Andasibe/Mantadia national park. Andasibe is a rainforest area covered of 810 hectare. Upon arrival, we will visit the Vakona reserve home of four species of lemur active day lemurs eagerly waiting for impatient visitors who would love to take photo and have fun time in this tiny man-made island. After the visit, drive back while waiting for a night walk in hope to spot some rare animals like the aye-aye, fat-tailed dwarf lemur, long-eared owls, ground chameleon, tiny ones and so on. Overnight at Top Hotel: Vakona Lodge (Top) in BB or Andasibe Hotel or in Mid-range Hotel: at the hotel Feon’ny Ala or Grace Lodge in BB.

Day 3: Andasibe - Palmarium.

This morning, we start our hike criss crossing the forest of Analamazoatra. This reserve ranks amongst the most visited area in Madagascar due to its wealth of exceptional biodiversity. On top of our agenda, this morning exploration will grant us a chance to see lots of animals and especially the Indri Indri, the biggest lemur, having a short tail, impersonating rather than emulating the physical look of the panda but its astounding eerie calls reaching kilometers away set an alarm for visitor to easily recognize it. Besides, there are tons of animals can be observed in this reserve other than lemurs since birds, reptiles, amphibians and so many more make their home in this reserve. After the visit, we leave Andasibedeparting toPalmarium, passing by Manambato where we will take a fast motor boat going to Ankanin’nyNofy. This luxuriant vegetation, the Palmarium is more than a relaxing place since you can visit the small private reserve where lemurs are easy to find. The Palmarium is located on a peninsula of more than 30 hectares on the Ampitabe Lake. Overnight at Palmarium bungalow (high-midrange).

Day 4: Palmarium - Mahambo.
Morning visit at Ankanin’nyNofy is a relaxing place, with its lovely lakeside full of vegetation. The edge of this channel is often bordered by typical lush vegetation which characterizes the eastern part of Madagascar. This is a place to spot the black indri, even aye-aye, and other animals. In the morning, leave Ankanin’nyNofy and take a boat to go to Manambato and continue by car to Mahambo pass by Toamasina. Stop in Foulpointe visiting the famous Manda Fort, possessing records of the King Radama I. Mahambo is a coastal village which is 84 km north of Toamasina; it is very notable for its beautiful beach (it is safe for swimming) and for its striding vegetation, rich of seafood. Overnight at Hotel La Pirogue (high midrange).

Day 5: Mahambo - Manompana.
We drive from Mahambo in hope to reach Manompana village taking approximately 50 km along the RN 5 track where ferry boat transfer would be necessary. This trip would grant us a chance to learn the daily life of the locals. Besides, we will be observing and contemplating various landscape of eastern Madagascar. Beach, visiting the village of local crafts represent an asset for this area. Overnight at Bon Ancrage.

Day 6: Ambodiriana Visit.
After breakfast, we will walk for 2 hours and take the boat to the reserve. Among our top agenda would be a visit at Ambodiriana. Today’s departure is heading to observe animals found in Ambodiriana primary forest, where we can contemplate beautiful waterfall, discovering mangrove and forest gallery, and rice fields. This guided tour along the botanical trail would allow us to enjoy the hike. The trails are a bit tougher but this trip would grant us a great deal of chance to observe lots of animals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Then, we can have picnic lunch at the edge of the waterfalls; besides, there could be a possibility for swimming as well. Mid-afternoon back to Bon Ancrage for overnight.

Day 7: Ambodiriana - Mananara.
After a sip of coffee, we depart heading to Mananara north. This is one of the most bumpy road and extremely bad, so you will reach Mananara around 7 or 8 pm. Overnight at Chez Roger.

Day 8: Mananara.
On our eighth day we will relax during the day or the visit the town of Mananara north before the evening visit at the Aye-Aye island. So, Mananara is the home of the night active lemur called ‘aye-aye’ at the Aye-Aye island you are sure to see the Aye-Aye except it rains. Overnight at Chez Roger.

Day 9: Mananara - Manambolosy.
After breakfast, we will be devoting our morning walk trekking from Mananara in order to reach our today’s destination, Manambolosy, following the sandy but rocky road which brings you toward the eastern beaches coast. Overnight in a Bungalow.

Day 10: Manambolosy - Fananehana.
Today, you will experience the joy of traveling when hiking along this eastern area, witnessing other culture, exploring, and going on adventures as the best ways to experience life. Todady’s trekking takes place all along the beach side; with beautiful blue and greenish color of both the ocean and the forest across from the sea till you reach Fananehana. Camping.

Day 11: Fananehana - Rantabe (Bungalow).
This will be the last day of our trekking but the starting point if you are from Maroantsetra to Mananara, criss-crossing the rivers by ferry, passing on the side the ocean. Overnight in a bungalow (low midrange).

Day 12: Rantabe - Maroantsetra.
Take the bush taxi from Rantabe to Maroantsetra passing by some vanilla and gloves’ fields.
Overnight at Manga Beach or Masoala Resort, in BB.

Day 13: Maroantsetra - Tana.
You will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight taking you back to Tana. Upon arrival, drive to your hotel for overnight at Louvre (Top) or Hotel Brajas or Chalet des Roses (high-midrange), in BB.

Day 14: Fly Home.
You will be transferred to Antananarivo international airport for flight heading back home. End of our service. Optional extension can be seen below.

Day 15: Maroantsetra - Masoala.

Leave Maroantsetra taking a fast motor boat reaching our today’s destination, Masoala National Park.Masoala’spristine forest is actually a complex of protected areas of 240,520 ha. It has four terrestrial parcels and three marine parcels. It is part of the forests of the East of Madagascar classified among the world natural heritage sites of the forests of the Atsinanana. The Masoala complex, the Masoala Park and the special reserve of Nosy Mangabe is the biggest protected area of Madagascar. We can find islets of forests, rocks, coral reefs, zones of herbaria and narrow strips of mangrove swamp forest there.This park possesses abundant biological diversity viewed as the wealthiest regions since 50% of species of the plants of Madagascar and more than 50% of the species of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles can be observed there. Overnight at Chez Arol (midrange) or Tampolo Lodge (midrange).

Day 16: Visit at the Park.
A full day visit at the park, 102 species of birds of which more than 60% are endentic which have been counted in Masoala. Among the ten species of lemurs of the park, four are part of the category of the primates the more threatened in the red list of the International union of the Conservation of the Nature (UICN). Leave Masoalagoingto Nosy Mangabe, The Special Reserve of Nosy Mangabe is a small island (520 ha) covered in humid thick forest. Despite this island's remote natural beauty, Four lemur species (black and white lemur, brown lemur, aye- aye, microcebus), two of which are nocturnal, also can be found on Nosy Mangabe. This is one of the places where you can find the Uroplatus, a well camouflaged and other worldly looking lizard. Nosy Mangabe also shelters the world's smallest chameleon, the tiny Brookesia, as well as other rare species like the Aye-Aye. In fact, this forested island is thought by many to be the best place to observe the Aye-Aye, thought by many to be Madagascar's strangest lemur. With its golden sand beaches from whose shores you can see the hump backed whales swimming in the bay. Camping in full-board.

Day 17: Nosymangabe - Maroantsetra.
After the breakfast, we hike back to the forest. In fact, this forested island is thought by many to be the best place to observe the Aye-Aye viewed as Madagascar's strangest lemur. Nosy Mangabe has golden sandybeaches where you can contemplate humpback whales swimming in the bay. Besides,Nosy Mangabe, with green lush vegetation and emerald green forests harbors many lemurs flinging and leaping across tree branches. Before noon, take a fast motor boat taking you back to Maroantsetra. Overnight at Manga Beach or Masoala Resort, in BB.

Day 18: Maroantsetra - Tana.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight back to Tana. Upon arrival, direct drive to your hotel for overnight at Louvre (Top) or Hotel Brajas or Chalet des Roses (Midrange), in BB.

Day 19: Fly Home.
You will be transferred to Antananarivo international airport for flight heading back home. End of our service.
