Carmel was covered by the water of the Mediterranean Sea.
Next, we’ll visit the lovely Bahaii Gardens and on to Acre the fascinating Crusader city where an underground world was only discovered in the 1950’s. Day 2, Thursday, March 3: Our adventure continues with a gorgeous and exciting hike on Mt. Meron, the second highest mountain in Israel, only after Mt. Hermon. Next, we’ll travel to one of the four holy cities of Israel, Safed, the mystical city of the Kabbalah and the Jewish spiritualists. Here, we’ll have a guided tour through the ancient streets, visiting ancient cities, alleys of the Kabbalistic artists, whose art expresses the mystery of the Zohar.
