This is one the most popular wildlife safaris because it takes you to visit four of the northern parks of Tanzania, one night in Manyara, three nights in Serengeti, one night in Ngorongoro and one night in Tarangire. All the parks feature small and large mammals plus birds and reptiles. Accommodation can be at your choice of the standard or luxury lodges or luxury tented camp. Lodgings are subject to availability, so book early to get your first choice. You will experience and enjoy wildlife in their natural habitat rich with the indigenous fauna and flora.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park. 8:30 a.m. departure from your hotel in Arusha and drive on paved road one hundred thirty kilometers to Lake Manyara National Park for both morning and afternoon game drives. The park is home to giraffes, lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, warthogs and more. About three hundred fifty species of birds have been recorded. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Manyara Hotel, Serena Hotel, Eunoto Lodge, or Kururumu Tented Lodge.

Day 2: Manyara – Serengeti National Park. After breakfast in Manyara, drive to the Great Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch and game drives en-route. Afternoon game drives in the park which is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dogs, various gazelles, crocs and more. Birds include the Eurasia migrants. Dinner and overnight stay in Serena Lodge, Sopa Lodge, Wildlife Lodge, Kirawira Tented Camp, Ndutu Lodge, or Migration Camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park. Breakfast is followed by a morning game drive in the park. The afternoon continues with game viewing to the North or West area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration passes (depending on the timing of the movement of the migration). Dinner and overnight in Lobo Wildlife Lodge, Ikoma Tented Lodge, Migration Camp or Kirawira Tented Camp, Mbalagetti Tented Camp, Grumet River Camp.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park. Breakfast, then a half day viewing game in the area, followed by a hot lunch before the drive back to the center of Serengeti. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera or Eastwards, dinner and an overnight stay in Serena Lodge, Sopa Lodge or Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Wake up at 6:00 a.m. for an early morning game drive in Serengeti at 8:45 a.m. Then return to the lodge for breakfast. After check out, drive with picnic lunch and game viewing en-route via Olduvai Gorge (archeological site to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim) for dinner and an overnight stay in Serena Lodge, Sopa Lodge, Wildlife Lodge, or Crater Lodge.

Day 6: Crater Tour – Tarangire. Wake up for an early morning for breakfast then at 6:30 a.m. descend to the crater floor for game viewing. All the big five: rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant live in this wonderful caldera along with others such as zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. Birds include the flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures and more. Your picnic lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok, a Hippo pool. After lunch, view more game while ascending the crater and proceed to drive to Tarangire National Park for dinner and an overnight stay in Sopa Lodge, Tree Top, Tarangire Safari Lodge, Kikoti Safari Camp or Oliver's Camp.

Day 7: Tarangire – Arusha. After breakfast, continue with game viewing in Tarangire National park, home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala and more. More than three thousand elephants live in this park as well as over four hundred fifty species of birds. A hot lunch will be served in your lodge or camp before the drive returns to Arusha.
