Day 1: Nairobi. The Stanley Hotel. Arrival into Nairobi. You will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel or similar. Day free for orientation and Safari briefing. Overnight stay at the Hotel. (BB)
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve – Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. 08:00 hrs. Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Central Kenya and North across the Equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Sarova Shaba in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve – Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. Full day in Samburu, a beautiful game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, blue-necked Somali Ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and Afternoon Game Drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Sarova Lionhill Lodge. After breakfast, link up with your driver/guide for the morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via Thompson Falls and other spectacular countryside. Lake Nakuru: was the first place in Africa to be designated a National Park primarily because of its numerous bird population. Lake Nakuru is a very shallow, strongly alkaline lake of 62 square kilometers/38 miles.
It is set in the picturesque landscape of the Great Rift Valley with surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. This is a saline Lake hosting the Pink Flamingos, Black and White Rhinos, Pelicans, Buffalos and Lions among others. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon game drive atthe lake shore. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Lionhill Lodge.
Day 5 Masai Mara – Sarova Mara Luxury Tented Camp. Breakfast at the Lodge. Embark on the morning drive to the spectacular countryside. Arrival at Sarova Mara in time for lunch. Seated on a corner of the Reserve with plenty of Game, the Sarova Mara is a dream come true. Afternoon game drive. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara - Sarova Mara Luxury Tented Camp. You have one full day at the Masai Mara. Here you may undertake optional Balloon rides, or optional visits to Lake Victoria, the second biggest fresh water lake in the world. You may also visit a Masai tribal village as an option. Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives. All the meals are included. Overnight stay at Sarova Mara.
Masai Mara is famous for its annual Great Migration of more than two million wildebeest and thousands of Thomson’s gazelle, zebra and impala. Aside from the Migration, game-viewing is excellent throughout the year. For the bird enthusiast 500 species have been recorded. The Masai Mara is well-known for its spectacular black-maned lion and for up-close-and-personal cheetah sightings. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park – Amboseli Serena Lodge. Amboseli National Park nears Kilimanjaro, whose magnificent snow-capped peak soars to 19,340 feet. Our evening is spent game viewing here amid the large elephant population, giraffe and predators, including lion and cheetah. With Mount Kilimanjaro providing a splendid backdrop for all our photographs, we spend the next day on morning and afternoon game drives, watching for zebra and wildebeest. Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the Airstrip for your local flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Arrive at Wilson Airport.Pick up and transfer to Amboseli National Park arriving in the evening with an en route Game Drive. Arrive at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 8: Amboseli National Park – Amboseli Serena Lodge. Full day in Amboseli with picnic Lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 9: Amboseli National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy
Early Morning Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Namanga Border with an enroute Game Drive. Pick up and transfer to Arusha for Lunch.After Lunch depart for Ngorongoro, one of the Natural Wonders of The World. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy – Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. After early morning breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, you will be taken 2000 ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. At Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 11: Serengeti National Park – Serengeti Sopa Lodge. After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the archeological site of the Leakey family. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 12: Serengeti National Park – Serengeti Sopa Lodge. A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 13: Lake Manyara National Park. Early Morning Breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Lake Manyara. Lunch with an enroute Game Drive. Afternoon Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 14: Breakfast at the Lodge. Transfer to Namanga Border. Pick up and transfer to Nairobi. Drop off at the Airport. For your flight back home.
