One can also find here unique nature monuments: ruins of ancient metropolis, monasteries and several fortresses. In Moldova, wine producing is a cultural tradition preserved for over 3 thousand years, not merely an industry. Tourists can visit numerous underground cellars and even participate in the wine production itself.

The breathtaking visit to the cradle of civilization – Orheiul Vechi is followed by a stay at the rural pension “Casa din Lunca” situated in the Trebujeni village.
We stop at a typical Moldavian family so as to learn at least a tiny part of the vast whole of Moldavian customs and traditions. We will definitely not leave the place, until we taste the remarkable Moldavian chicken soup called “zeama with taitei”, as well as another traditional dish “sarmale in foi de vita de vie” and vegetables collected directly from the garden. You will also have the pension’s special dish – fresh warm pies “placinte” served along with the delicious home-made red wine just taken out of the barrel.

Feel the atmosphere of this disputed territory which always has been a battlefield between the major powers of the region.
