Day 1: Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
Day 2: Istanbul. After breakfast full day visit to Istanbul. Visits to the outstanding monuments of Ottoman & Byzantine Empires, the Roman Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia (closed on Mondays), Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Suleiman the Magnificent Mosque and Grand Bazaar with over 4000 stores. Lunch at local restaurant and back to the hotel at dusk.
Day 3: Istanbul – Bosphorus. Short cruise through Vosporos, the strait that separates Europe from Asia. Enjoy the view of the wooden villas, the marble palace and the fortresses. Disembarkation at the European part of Turkey and transfer to your hotel.
Day 4: Istanbul/Airport - Ben Gurion Airport - Jerusalem. At the indicated time as per your flight you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Tel-Aviv Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Assistance and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5: Jerusalem - Bethlehem City-New. In the morning tour the City of Jerusalem, including the Knesset and the Menorah. Visit the Holocaust Museum and the Museum of Israel. We will also visit Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Afternoon visit to Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity and the Church of Santa Catalina. Return to hotel
Day 6: Jerusalem (Old City). Early morning, visit the Wailing Wall. View of the Temple Mount. We will go through the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Mount Zion visit the Basilica of the Dormition and the Upper Room where the Last Supper took place. Departure to the Mount of Olives from which you can see the old Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees and the Church of All Nations. Return to hotel.
Day 7: Sheik Hussein Bridge – Jerash – Amman. We will travel to Sheik Hussein border and pass through Jordan Jerash, one of the cities of the Decapolis. Visit the ancient Roman city, etc. Continue to Amman, the Jordanian capital short panoramic tour of the most important sites. Overnight in Amman.
Day 8: Amman - Petra - Amman. Out across the desert to Wadi Moussa, on the outskirts of the city of Petra. Then ride on horseback to reach the narrow Siq canyon that leads to the ruins of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabataeans. Visit the world famous rock carved Rosa, Treasury, the Tomb of one of the Nabataean kings, etc. Return to Amman via the village of Wadi Moussa. Overnight in Amman.
Day 9: Amman - Madaba - Mt. Allenby Bridge Nebo - Jerusalem. Departure to Madaba to visit the ancient Byzantine city and see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then we drive to Mount Nebo, from where Moses had his last vision. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea. Contemplate the remains of the Byzantine Church. Continue to the Allenby Bridge. Border crossing and return to Jerusalem.
Day 10: Jerusalem - Ben Gurion Airport - Cairo Airport. According to your flight you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival assistance and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation.
Day 11: Cairo. Full day tour starting at the Museum of Antiquities in Cairo and the Bazaar with free time for shopping. After lunch following the tour to Giza where you will find the three Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
Day 12: Cairo. Day at leisure to explore the city. In the evening an optional "Sound and Light" tour at the Pyramids is highly recommended.
Day 13: Cairo - Airport. At the time indicated, you will be transferred to airport for departure flight.
