Athens and Santorini mini vacation with a full day tour to Mycenae and Epidaurus and half day Athens city tour including the famous Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum. Tow meals in Athens and Santorini in Greek restaurants to taste the famous Greek and Mediterranean food.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Athens.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

Day 2: Athens – Half Day City Tour.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, theNational Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts an order in the mind", the Parthenon. Tour will end by visiting the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum, "State of the art" in museum construction and very rich in content. Afternoon free to visit the old Athens city (Plaka) with lots of restaurants, taverns and souvenir shops.

Day 3: Athens - Corinth Canal, Mycenae, Epidaurus.

Passing through the picturesque Saronic Gulf coastal roads, we arrive at the Corinth Canal. Then we go to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides, the city "rich in gold" of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs Departure for Nauplion through the province of Argolida. After lunch, visit Epidaurus. Epidaurus was a small city in ancient Greece, at the Saronic Gulf. Reputed to be the birthplace of Apollo's son Asclepius, the healer, Epidaurus was known for its sanctuary , as well as its theater, which is once again in use today. The cult of Asclepius at Epidaurus is attested in the 6th century BC. The theatre is marvelled for its exceptional acoustics, which permit almost perfect intelligibility of non amplified spoken word from the proscenium or scene to all 15,000 spectators, regardless of their seating The Sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Day 4: Athens - Santorini.
Early morning transfer to the port of Piraeus to board the boat to Santorini. Upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. At night, your table is already reserved in a traditional Cycladic tavern to sample a variety of local specialities (drinks not included).

Day 5: Santorini – Volcano Cruise.

Today enjoy a half day cruise to the small islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni located inside the caldera, the Hot Springs with the green and yellow waters (with free time for swimming) and the island of Thirassia. Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Vlyhada marina. Orientation with the boat and sailing on the south coast of the island.
We will pass near the red and white beaches and continue sailing the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea to the Caldera. Near the Nea Kameni (volcano island) we will see the old port and then go to Palea Kameni and Thirasia. We will see the hot springs with green and yellow waters and have time for swimming here or in another place depending on the season of the year. We continue sailing below Imerovigli, Firostefani and Fira towns and will arrive in Vlyhada marina. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Santorini.
In the afternoon, drive to first stop Megalochori with typical vineyard, where we learn about the grapes of Santorini. Then a traditional local production and fermentation of wine for a guided tour, including new and old facilities, hear about the production of yesterday and today. Continue to a modern wineries with a magnificent view of the volcano, "Santo Wines" - one of the largest wineries in Greece - where we will have the opportunity to taste a variety of wines produced in Santorini, including the famous Vinsanto. During the tasting, a small selection of breads, cheeses and olives will be offered.

Day 7: Santorini- Athens. At the indicated time you will be transferred to the port to embark on the boat to Piraeus. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Athens. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 8: Athens – Airport. According to your departure flight time you will be transferred to the airport for boarding your return flight.
