Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival - Ho Chi Minh

On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Ho Chi Minh City is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafés. The afternoon we stroll around Saigon down town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh

Heading out of town we travel by road to Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai region. On arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. On return trip we also make stop to explore Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho

A half day tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals takes in the Nôtre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory, the bustling market of Binh Tay Market in Chinatown and Giac Lam Pagoda. The afternoon we travel overland to the Mekong Delta, the richest rice bowl of Vietnam. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho - Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh

After a short drive to Vinh Long, we take a half day boat trip on a river, exploring the watery world of the Mekong Delta. Along the way we make stops at the bustling floating market of Cai Be and an orchard garden where you have the opportunity to visit local homes as well as enjoy a lunch followed with many seasonal fruits. Day 5: Ho Chi Minh - Da Lat

Today we start our north bound journey with the first stop being Da Lat, one of Vietnam’s most charming towns. At an elevation of 15,000 meters, Da Lat, called the "city of eternal spring", have been established as a hill station at the beginning of the last century. The city is set around a lake and surrounded forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside. Overnight in Da Lat. Includes: (B).

Day 6: Da Lat - Nha Trang

The sightseeing tour of Da Lat includes the former residence of Emperor Bao Dai, Hang Nga House, Xuan Huong Lake, the Central Market, the Love Valley and Lam Ty Ni Pagoda. The afternoon, we travel by road to Nha Trang with stopover at the scenic pass of Ngoan Muc and the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers. Overnight in Nha Trang. Includes: (B).

Day 7: Nha Trang

The picturesque coastal town of Nha Trang is an ideal place for anyone seeking an enjoyable escape. Taking a boat trip out we explore some nearby islands of the South China Sea and spend a half day on the turquoise water enjoying swimming, snorkeling, lazing on a beach and feasting on seafood lunch. Overnight in NhaTrang. Includes: (B, L).

Day 8: Nha Trang - Da Nang - Hoi An

After a visit to the Cham Ponagar Towers and Linh Son Pagoda, we board a flight to Da Nang. The tour of central Vietnam begins with sightseeing of Hoi An which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. The tranquil and charm of Hoi An with its low tiled houses of Chinese appearance, Japanese covered bridge, brightly painted temples and pagodas make it one of Vietnam’s most delightful places. Day 9: Hoi An - Hué

Upon leaving Hoi An, we drive north to Hué, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The scenic route passes through Da Nang before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the picturesque fishing villages of Lang Co. The sensational Marble Mountain and the display of Cham’s sculpture are also visited on our journey. Overnight in Hué. Includes: (B, D).

Day 10: Hué

The elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu are not to be missed. Today we include these in a boat trip on the Perfume River which provides us some fantastic views of the countryside and an enjoyable visit to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes as well as the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Day 11: Hué - Ha Noi

A short morning flight to Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam. On arrival, we have time visiting the beautiful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple, West Lake and the interesting History Museum. The day ends with a short cycle ride around the old quarter streets to see the different local ways of life. Overnight in Ha Noi. Includes: (B).

Day 12: Ha Noi - Ha Long

We continue our sightseeing tour of the town, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam’s first university, the Fine Art Museum and the Ethnology Museum. Then, we travel by road to Ha Long Bay with stopover in Hai Phong, the biggest port town of northern Vietnam. Overnight in Ha Long. Includes: (B).

Day 13: Ha Long - Ha Noi

Ha Long Bay boasts one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. This morning, we embark on a cruise out to explore the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. Along the way we will anchor for leisurely swim in a secluded cove. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Ha Noi, arriving in time to see an evening performance of Ha Noi’s famous water puppets. Overnight in Ha Noi. Includes: (B, L).

Day 14: Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Ha Noi

As a highlight of the trip, we spend today visiting Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s first capital with two remaining sanctuaries of the Dinh and Le dynasties and enjoying a boat trip on a river through the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations to the grottoes of Tam Coc. Overnight in Ha Noi. Includes: (B, L).

Day 15: Ha Noi - Departure

There is a free time to relax or further explore Ha Noi. The tour ends after your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure. Includes: (B).
