Day 1: Home - Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. You will be greeted by your local guide and escorted to your hotel. Assisted for check-in. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a full day tour including Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Liulichang which has been well known since 17th century Qing Dynasty as the street selling old books, paintings, calligraphy and other arts. Whether you buy or not, it will be an interesting place to visit. In the evening, enjoy Peking Opera in Huguang Guild Hall where the best Peking Opera is performed. You will have dinner in the neighboring Chuwan Hall with excellent cuisine. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Beijing. Today your guide will take you to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, and Sacred Way. Last stop is at the Beijing’s famous Acrobatic Show. Peking Duck Dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Beijing. Visit Temple of Heaven in the morning, and join locals to do Taichi, dancing, singing, etc. Visit Hutong (the Old Beijing) and visit a typical traditional Chinese home where you can learn how to make dumplings, enjoy lunch in the home. Visit Drum Tower (Drums were used for telling time in the morning and at dusk and also for music as early as 3rd century BC. Then visit Yonghegong Lamasary, and Shichahai scenic and leisure area with three lakes surrounded by historic places, old style homes and courtyards, and many fine restaurants. This evening, you will have dinner at the famous Kaorouji BBQ Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Beijing - Shanghai. After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you are greeted and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, enjoy Huangpu River cruise, Jinmao Tower and Bund. Free time in Shintiandi (New World). Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7; Shanghai. The tour will include Yuyuan Garden with time to explore Shanghai Old Street, New Shanghai Museum, and shopping at Nanjing Street. Dinner at the famous Locomotive Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Shanghai - Seoul. After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport and fly to Seoul. Upon arrival at Seoul Inchon International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to downtown Seoul. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Seoul featuring Gyeongbok Palace, Folk Museum, Seoul Tower and Insadong. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 9: Seoul. Today you will have an excursion outside of Seoul visiting Folk Village where you will see and experience the old life styles, traditional foods, performances, etc. followed by a visit to the famous pottery kiln in Icheon. Lunch is included. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Seoul. Full day is yours for shopping. Explore fashionable boutiques in Myuongdong, famous department store such as Shinsaegae or Lotte, or wholesale markets at South Gate (Namdaemun) and/or East Gate (Dongdaemun) for excellent bargains for quality goods. You may choose to visit fun places such as Lotte World, Everland or Seoul Land where you can have a full day of fun just like local Koreans. Try Ginseng Chicken Soup for lunch. Includes: (B).
Day 11: Seoul - Tokyo. Take a morning flight to Tokyo. Upon arrival in early afternoon, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Tokyo. Balance of the day is leisure. Enjoy Tokyo Night Life tour this evening. You will have a Japanese style dinner (choice of Sukiyaki, Sashimi, tempura or vegetarian meal). Drive through Rainbow Bridge and visit Odaiba, drive by Ginza Shopping District and National Diet Building, and visit Roppongi Hills Observatory. You will be dropped off at your hotel. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 12: Tokyo. Morning tour of Tokyo will highlight Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arace. The tour will finish at Akihabara or Tokyo Station, and your guide will assist for return trip to your hotel. Or you may choose to spend your time in the city on your own.
Day 13: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto. Drive to Mt. Fuji after breakfast. Stop at the Mt. Fuji Visitor Center, and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Have a Japanese style lunch, and continue to Hakone where you will take Hakone Ropeway and visit Owakudani Valley. Take a Pirate Boat cruise on Lake Ashi. Arrive at Odawara Station for a train ride to Kyoto. Upon arrival in Kyoto, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Includes: (L).
Day 14: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto. Full day tour will visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto Imperial Palace. You will have a buffet style lunch. In the afternoon, visit Todaiji Temple with Great Buddha, Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Nagomikan. Includes: (L).
Day 15: Kyoto - Osaka - Home. You will be picked up and transferred to Osaka Kansai International Airport and fly home.
