Day 1: Yerevan. Dougbayazid. Depart from Yerevan (04.00 am). The road: Yerevan, Gumri, Javakhk, Akhltskhe, Vale, Posof, Artahan, Kars, Igdir, Dougbayazid. Pass two borders: Armenian-Georgian, Georgian-Turkish. Leaving Yerevan early morning (about 4 AM) drive through Gumri to the Georgian border and through Javakhk to Turkey, down through Ardahan, Kars, Ikdir to Dogubayazit (about 750 kilometers route). Lunch on the way. Overnight in Dogubayazit.
Day 2: Ararat Summit. In the morning at 7 am after the breakfast we drive to Mount Ararat 2200 meters by minivan. Than start to hike Ararat (3200 m) meters, which is we called green camp. The group overnight stay in camp first.
Day 3: Ararat Summit. In the morning at 8 am, after the breakfast at camp one, we start to hike to camp 2 (4200) overnight will be in camp two. At 2 am, we wake up than climb to the summit of Mt. Ararat.
Day 4: Ararat Summit. The group will reach the summit in the morning at 6:30 or 7 am. We hike back down to camp one (3200 m) for overnight.
Day 5: Ararat Summit. Transfer to the car point (2200 m) and drive to the Hotel in Dogubayazit. Farewell dinner in Bayazet.
Day 6: Dogubayazit – Van. After breakfast. Van-Tushpa one of the ancient and important capitals of Great Armenia in the second millennium B.C., ancient fortress of the Kingdom of Van, visiting the museum of VAN, ancient town and water canals area, Mher’s Door - with the famous Urartian cuneiform inscription; Varagavank; Archak Lake. Driving to Haykaberd - "Armenian Fortress". Lunch in Van. Overnight in Van.
Day 7: Van – Akhtamar Island. After breakfast. Akhtamar the volcanic isle; on which only the majestic Holy Cross Church has survived and has beenrenovated; referring to the breathtaking view of Lake Van, it has been said “Van is in this “World– what Paradise is in the Next”. Lunch in Van. Overnight in Van.
Day 8: Van – Kars. After breakfast. Drive Kars. Kars – is a town that is dominated by the ruins of the ancient castle, sits at the top a rocky hill overlooking Kars and St. Arakelots Cathedral, Cathedral of the Holy Apostles (10th century), Armenian old homes and Kars Museum with the wide collection of antiquities; Lunch in Kars Ani. Today the great City of Ani is in ruins... a ghost town, a mere shadow of the once world-renowned splendor of 1,000 years ago and yet still a jewel in the treasure box of architecture and history. Overnight in Kars.
Day 9: Kars - Yerevan. Breakfast served. To the north of Ardahan via Posof lies the border crossing of Turkey to Georgia. Lunch on the way. Pass two borders: Turkish-Georgian, Georgian-Armenian. Arrive in Yerevan.
Equipment we give the group: Tent, sleeping bag, mattress and climbing crampons, we have these possibly to give that equipment to the group here.
Which equipment to bring: Everybody have to bring: Hat, gloves, sunglasses, walking or climbing boots, walking stick, mountain jacket and worm mountain clothing like polar.
