Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival via Europe/USA/Asia/Australia. Arrival at the Douala international airport meets local team and transfer to the hotel Serena Palace and night in Douala.

Day 2: Douala - Dizangue - Yaoundé. Breakfast, departure for Yaoundé passing to Dizangue, visit the Ossa Lake of 10.000 Hectares which points out to the sea in miniature, advised for fishing and the water sport, lunch, continue to Yaoundé, arrival check into the hotel Azur Bastos, diner and overnight in Yaounde.

Day 3: Yaounde - Bertoua 353 km. Breakfast (5.30 am). Depart to Bertoua and stop at Ayos, river Nyong visit the fishermen of Nkanga (Nile fishing). Continue to Abong Mbang picnic for lunch, stop in Doume, visits the German colonial fortress, continue to Bertoua and check into the hotel, dinner and overnight. Night in Mansa hotel.

Day 4: Bertoua – Yokadouma 305 km. Breakfast (5.30 am); depart for Yokadouma via Batouri. Picnic on the Kenzou ferry, (very rustic, created by German colonial powers. photos continue to Yakadouma. Arrival, installation in hotel elephant dinner if possible a night grace by traditional dance on request and night. Night in hotel elephant.

Day 5: Yokadouma - Combo 159 km. Breakfast, depart for combo camp, as the journey continue, one begins seeing signs of pygmy’s habitats along the road, arrival in mambele, head for the combo camp, launch, and median contact with the equatorial forest as well as the Baaka people (pygmies), first Occupant of golf Guinea. Picnic. Presentation of the Baaka pharmacy; explanation and demonstration of the Hunting mechanisms. Return to the camp. Dinner and overnight. (Night in tents)

Day 6: Combo – Lobeke 50 km. Breakfast, depart in a 4 wheel drive to Lobéké reserve. Stop in reserve, continue by 3 hours trekking, arrival at watch tower (small savannah). Installation of our tents in afternoon, observation of monkeys and other animals (height of 3 metres and very comfortable with no risk) Lunch, observation continues diner and overnight. Night in tents watch tower in the lobeke reserve.

Day 7: Lobeke. Breakfast early in the morning, trekking for 5 hours in the big savannah region of the reserve, return for lunch; continue visiting the primates and lowland gorillas, from the watch tower of 3 meters high until evening, dinner and night in tents install in tower. Night in tents watch tower of reserve.

Day 8: Lobeke. Breakfast, cross over to the Dzanga Sangha national park, and meet with the local guides and authorities of the park. Go tracking for different specie of the lowland gorillas. Stop over for lunch. Then continue tracking for elephants. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9: Pickup after breakfast go tracking for gorillas and continue all day with a stopover for lunch then return to the lodge and overnight after dinner.

Day 10: Dzanga - Lobeke – Batouri 359 km. Pickup after breakfast at (4.30am), drive to Yokadouma. Lunch, stop at Ndebele. Observation of hippopotamus. Continue to Batouri, arrive in the afternoon. Check into the hotel belle Etoile, stroll around the town, dinner and overnight. (Night in hotel Belle Etoile)

Day 11: Batouri - Bertoua 130 km. Breakfast, return to Kambélé. Observation of gold mines (techniques of manual research).lunch, Continue on untarred road to Bertoua. Transfer to the hotel, walk around town, dinner and overnight in Bertoua.

Day 12: Bertoua – Yaoundé. Breakfast, departure for Yaoundé picnic at Abong Mbang continue to Yaoundé arrive Yaoundé later in the day, Also called "town of seven hills" visit the, Febe hills to get the panoramic view of the whole of Yaoundé. Check into the hotel, diner and overnight in Yaoundé.

Day 13: Yaoundé – Bamenda. Pickup after breakfast drive straight to Bamenda, arrive Bamenda at about mid day. Lunch and continue to Njikwa which is about 4hrs drive or rather sleep in Bamenda then continue to Njikwa in the morning, arrive Njikwa at about 11.00 am in the morning, continue to the Takamanda National Park, check into the lodge and overnight.

Day 14: Takamanda Park. Pickup after breakfast and go tracking for the cross river gorillas all day, stop over for lunch and continue tracking for the cross river gorillas return to the lodge and overnight at the park.

Day 15: Bamenda. Pickup after breakfast and drive to Bamenda, lunch and take a light walk around the city, return to the Hotel dinner and overnight in Bamenda.

Day 16: Departure. Pickup after breakfast drive to Douala or Yaoundé, lunch and step out for some light shopping and then transfer to the Airport for departure.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
