Day 1: Kampala - Kibale Forest. Our safari guide will pick and drives you to Kibale Forest National park. On your 4-5 hour drive, you will enjoy a perfect scenic view of Uganda; and in the afternoon, we will arrive in Fort portal town. You will be given a moment of rest then in the evening you will be taken for a guided tour of Fort Portal town. The night will be spent at Ndali Safari Lodge | Kibale Forest Camp (Full board).
Day 2: Chimp Tracking, Kibale Forest National Park. After breakfast, you will report to the ranger station and at 08.00 you will start your Kibale Forest walk in search for man' closest relatives, the Chimpanzees. A variety of primates and other wildlife will be available for your view in the forest. In the evening, you will take a nocturnal primate walk in the forest with expectations to meet pottos and the galagos. The night will be spent at Ndali Safari Lodge | Kibale Forest Camp (Full board).
Day 3: Kibale National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast, you will depart southwards to the Mountain Gorillas' home, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge | Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Full board).
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi. At 08:00 report to the ranger station for registration and a briefing by the a ranger guide, then you will be taken into the sanctuary to enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest yet the home to over a half of the world’ mountain gorillas for your tracking experience.
The tracking activity takes 2– 6 hours, some fitness is required. Imagine an experience, sitting among the gorillas amidst a forest, listening to them grumble to each other! A guided village walk through the Local Batwa Community in the evening, will be available should you be left with energy. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge | Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Full board).
Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Forest – Kampala. Have breakfast then set off for Kampala with lunch packed.
