Tarangire National Park, which is the "Baobab Capital of the World", is 120km and 2 hours drive from Arusha (75 miles). Tarangire is renowned for its wild landscapes and diverse habitats.The Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name, is the only permanent water source within 2600 square kilometers (1625 sq.miles) of protected wildlife area.

In addition to numerous animals, the park has over 300 species of birds and has the highest recorded number of breeding bird species of any habitat in the world. Tarangire is most famous for its elephants. There are 3,000 resident elephants in the park and another 3,000 individuals migrate into the park during the dry season of July-October.

Elephants can begin to migrate into Tarangire as early as May and June as they follow the long rains and love the tall swamp grass found in Tarangire National Park. Elephant watching is excellent in Tarangire all year round. Bird watching is amazing all year round as well and Tarangire boasts the largest number of breeding species in one park in all of Africa.

Day 1: Airport - Arusha. Meet and greet with our representative at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha town. Overnight: Karama Lodge. BB.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire N.P. After breakfast depart for Tarangire National park for a game drive. This park is popular for the large concentration of Elephants, and long lived upsides down trees “Baobab” which is the refuge for the famous tree climbing pythons. Lunch at the lodge, short snap and full game viewing in the afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight: Campsite. FB.

Day 3: Tarangire N.P Full Day - Walking - Birding. Very early game viewing in the Park before returning to the camp for late breakfast, take your lunch boxes for unforgettable experience walking and Bird watching on the shores of Lake Manyara and Cultural interaction with Datoga and Maasai, whose bomas populate the adjacent land en route you might meet closely with giraffes, warthogs, zebras, impalas, etc. Overnight: Hidden Paradise Campsite. FB.

Day 4: Tarangire N.P - Lake Natron. Depart for Tarangire after breakfast and drive to the lowest point of the Rift valley in East Africa passing through Engaruka Ruins, heading to the picnic site on the riverbank of Engaresero River for lunch. This is the best place to spot the large flocks of flamingos and other species of birds visiting the lake. Optional activities include a visit to Engaresero Waterfalls, Hike Engaresero Rift Wall, thereafter down in the valley; we relax at a comfortable campsite near the lake for dinner. “Optional trekking to Mountain Oldonyo Le Ngai “Active volcanic mountain”. Overnight: Campsite. FB.

Days 5 - 6: Serengeti N.P Full Days. Full days in Serengeti, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Game viewing in the centre of the park at the Seronera which has abundant grazing and considerable numbers of animals including giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, Gazelles and many other species that sustain resident leopards, hyenas, scavengers and large prides of lions. Overnight at Seronera Public Campsite.

Day 7: Serengeti N.P - Ndutu. After breakfast, set off early, for morning game drive in the Simba Kopjes area. This is the favorite place for lions where frequently use these kopjes to just lie and bath in the sun. Then we continue towards the south heading to the saline Lake Ndutu. Full day game viewing to explore the exceptionally interesting area around Lake Ndutu area. The Lake attracts throngs of flamingoes and the area is usually heavy populated with elephant and birds as well as resident plains game and is a center point during the migration of wildebeest. Overnight: Special Campsite. FB.

Day 8: Ndutu - Ngorongoro Crater. Leave very early in the morning towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater via Olduvai Gorge “The Cradle Of Mankind” where the remains of the early man was discovered by Dr. Leakey and stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum for Lunch. The museum displays some of these fascinating discoveries and remarkable finds. After lunch afternoon game viewing around the crater rim and transfer to the lodge for dinner. Overnight: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. FB.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater. Have an early breakfast at the lodge with packed lunch descending into the stunning crater for morning game viewing. Lunch at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. After lunch drive towards the famous lake Eyasi visiting some of the fascinating tribes in Tanzania “Hadzabe and Datoga”. Dinner and Overnight at Campsite. FB.

Day 10: Lake Eyasi Full Day. Wake up very early in the morning to go hunting with the Bushman tribe who still use traditional methods of survival. Later back for the late breakfast and lunch at the lodge. Drive in the afternoon to the active town of Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Campsite. FB.

Day 11: Lake Eyasi - Lake Manyara Park. This morning after a hearty breakfast we drive to the Lake Manyara National Park which looks greenish seasonal. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants, large troops of Baboon, Great numbers of monkeys as well as famous tree-climbing lions. The soda lake contains varieties of algae which attracts the large flocks of flamingos. Set off in the afternoon visiting the famous agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu. Overnight: Jambo Campsite. FB.

Day 12: Lake Manyara - Kilimanjaro N.P. Drive to Mount Kilimanjaro national park headquarters at Marangu and start your hike to Mandara hut. Ascend on a cleared ridge trail through the rain forest. After having lunch hike to the Maundi Crater for really impressive and majestic view of the land below. Overnight: Mandara hut. FB.

Day 13: Kilimanjaro – Airport. After breakfast trek down to the gate and transfer to Moshi town for lunch and stops for souvenirs then transfer to the airport for your flights back home.
