Day 01: Buenos Aires
Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred by private service to your hotel leaving you the remained of the day to explore the city and possibly get your first glimpse of the Obelisco, Casa Rosada, or the tree-lined streets of Recoleta.
Day 02: Buenos Aires Tour and Tango Show
Our City Tour will provide you a great overview of the city and its diverse attractions. Over the course of three hours you will have the chance to visit Retiro, Avenida 9 de Julio, Downtown, Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Recoleta and La Boca. In the evening you will be treated to one of Buenos Aires' most emblematic cultural highlight's; a Dinner and Tango Show offering a spectacular demonstration of the local dancing accompanied by delicious Argentine cuisine and all the malbec you'd like.
Day 03: Buenos Aires a Ushuaia
At appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel leaving you the rest of the day to explore the city, try some of delicious fresh seafood, or learn of the region's history at the Prisoners Museums.
Day 04: Australis Cruise: departure from Ushuaia
Breakfast. From 9am to 4pm, passengers check in at 245 San Martin St, Ushuaia. From 5pm to 6pm: boarding "Mare Australis" expedition cruise ship. The crew, headed by the Captain, will welcome you aboard for cocktails with your cruise companions. Immediately afterward, the ship will set sail for "the uttermost part of the earth." Through the mythical Strait of Magellan, we will travel to Southern Patagonia, including Tierra de Fuego. This is the beginning of a Great Adventure! Dinner on board.
Day 05: Australis Cruise
We will sail through the Beagle and Murray Channels to disembark in Cape Horn National Park. Cape Horn, a sheer, almost 425-meter-high promontory, where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean merge, was discovered in 1616 by the Dutch commercial expedition organized by Isaac Le Maire. The Cape owes its name to the Port of Hoorn, the expedition's departure point. In the afternoon we will disembark in historical Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region's largest native settlements. This area is also renowned for the spectacular beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will walk through a Magellanic forest filled with Lengas, Coigües, Canelos, ferns and other species to reach a look-out point. Full board.
Day 06: Australis Cruise
We will disembark in Chico Inlet for a zodiac boat approach to Piloto and Nena glaciers, providing us with a closer look at these awe-inspiring masses of ancient ice. Full board.
Day 07: Mare Australis Cruise: arrival to Punta Arenas
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we will be able to observe during our walk to the Lighthouse that guides different ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan. After our visit, we will return to Punta Arenas, where we will disembark at 11:30 a.m., concluding our adventure. After disembark, you will be taken in private service to your comfortable hotel in Puerto Natales where you will spend the night.
Day 08: Torres del Paine Tour
After an early breakfast, you will leave on a full day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park with its granite peaks emerging dramatically out of the Patagonian plains. Today you will have the chance to explore some of the most picturesque spots of the world renowned park including Salto Grande, Laguna Amarga, Lago Pehoe, the Cuernos del Paine and of course, the famous Torres del Paine. Keep an eye out for wild guanacos as they roam the windy plains. In the evening you'll be dropped off at your hotel to stay the night inside the park. Regular service.
Day 09: Torres del Paine
Day at leisure to discover more of the park or further explore areas visited on the previous day's tour. We recommend the full day hike to the base of the Torres to take in some breathtaking views, or a picturesque cruise on the Lago Grey to catch a glimpse of Grey Glacier
Day 10; Torres del Paine a El Calafate
Breakfast. At appropriate time, you will have a private transfer to El Calafate. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the areas around the town or possible make the 1km hike out to Laguna Nimez for a beautiful Patagonian sunset.
Day 11: Perito Moreno Glacier - El Calafate
After an early breakfast, you will leave on a full day excursion to Los Glaciers National Park a Unesco World Heritage site since 1981 and home to one of the most awe inspiring sites in Argentina, Perito Moreno Glacier. During the tour you will have the chance to enjoy stunning views of the glacier from various spots around National Park, as well as a boat tour that will take you close enough to fully take in just how massive it is (navigation included). For even more adventure, you may choose the Big Ice or Mini-Trekking programs ( at an extra cost ), both allow you to hike on the glacier! And yes, ice-shoes/crampons are included! In the early evening you will be returned to you hotel.
Day 12: El Calafate a Buenos Aires
At appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel. Private service.
Day 13: Buenos Aires a Puerto Iguazu
At appropriate time you will be taken to the domestic airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu. Private service. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel at which point you will have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the tropical climate and jungle setting, private service.
Day 14: Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side
After breakfast you will depart on a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls where you will have intimate views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River. Lower and upper walkways permit up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. Trails through the 210 square mile reserve provide visitors with various views of the Falls, especially the largest one, Devil's Throat. The ecological train ride is included in the tour with an option to add the Safari Nautico boat trip taking you right up to the base of the Falls ( this exiting excursion is highly recommend in order to feel the power of the Iguazu Falls. You have to know that you will get 100% wet because it is like a "natural shower". Be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this extra excursion), private service. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 15: Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side / Buenos Aires
After breakfast, enjoy a half day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls where you will enjoy vast panoramic views of the Falls allowing you to take them in in their entirety, private service. At appropriate time in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires, private service. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 16: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Day at leisure to explore the cobbled tree lined streets of Palermo Soho in search of one of a kind Porteño fashion, to sit in café and enjoy perfectly aged glass of malbec, or perhaps to sip yerba out of your newly purchased mate gourd while people watching in one of the parks that makes up the Palermo Bosques.
Day 17: Buenos Aires
Breakfast. At appropriate time, you will be taken to the international airport to take your flight back home.
