First, our expedition in the West including Morondava, Kirindy andTsingy of Bemaraha highlight the nation’s two invaluable parks considered as a must, harboring the vast majority of fauna and flora, the Baobab Alley, the Fosa and lemurs at Kirindy and the Tsingy in Bemaraha. Hiking in Kirindy is very notable as you shall observe the fossa, lemurs, many birds, rodents, and the jumping rat. Then, Tsingy of Bemaraha, a vast forest of rugged and eroded karst pinnacles grants you to see a great deal of birds with 103 species recorded, 8 species of reptiles and 11 species of lemurs. Then, our hike in Andasibe reserve restores the scientists’ hope granting a large amount of fauna and flora, with 14 lemur species, 108 species of birds and 51 species of impressive reptiles. Finally, Palmarium seems to be the key success of this trip granting naturalists the chance to find the rarest animal found nowhere else in the world since Palmarium is the place where you can surely find the Aye-Aye easily.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Tana.
Arriving at Ivato international airport in Antananarivo, meet Ortour representative, and then transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight in hotel du Louvre (Top) or Chalet des Roses (high-midrange), Hotel Brajas (high-midrange), in BB.

Day 2: Tana - Morondava - Kirindy.
Take a flight to get to the western part of Madagascar. Morondava is the capital of the tribe of ‘Sakalavan’iMenabe’. Visit the famous ‘Baobab Alley’. The trip in the west coast precisely in Morondava is best known for its Baobab species that the nation itself possesses a large number of 7 out of 8 species worldwide, and Adansonia grandidieri is the most majestic species reaching 30m in height. We continue driving to Kirindy Reserve, a privately managed forest by a Swiss company. Night walk in the forest in search of endemic animals.Kirindy is the best place in the whole island to observe the rare Coquereli's giant mouse, lemur and pygmy mouse-lemur, fork-crowned lemur, Gray mouse lemur, western fat-tailed dwarf lemur and the red-tailed sportive lemur; with 50 species of reptiles, several bats, tenrecs, mongooses, the jumping rat, etc…
completing the mammal population. Overnight at Relais du Kirindy or in a Tent Bungalow (Camp des Amoureux) in BB.

Day 3: Kirindy - Tsingy Of Bemaraha.
Morning visit at Kirindy reserve. The predator makes its home in this reserve and can be found in the forest in hunt for its prey. Also, there are 40 species of birds, 8 species of lemurs including the brown lemurs and the dancing sifakas. These long-legged, white with dark patches, leap among tree trunks high in the canopy, propelled by their powerful hind legs but continually maintaining an upright posture. After the morning visit, leave Kirindy and drive to Tsingy of Bemaraha.Overnight at the hotel or Le Grand Hotel in BB (high-midrange Hotel option).

Day 4: Tsingy.
Full day visit at both the Great and Little Tsingy. Scientists estimate that the park endemism rate reaches 86, 7%. There are 11 species of lemurs recorded, with five families of Bats, 103 species of bird species. The index of the reptiles and amphibians is as large as Bemaraha possessing 34 species. During the hike in the park, there is a broad canyon crossed by a swinging suspension bridge. Harness has to be put on and avoid skirts for females or flip flops. Amid all this grey pinnacles sprout the green plants, pachypodiums and other succulent plants. Expect to see the Giant Coua, the long eared owls perched on tree branch.
Overnight at: Overnight at the hotel or Le Grand Hotel in BB (high-midrange Hotel option).

Day 5: Tsingy - Morondava.
Drive back to Morondava. Stop en route including the Amorous Baobab, the Baobab Alley; about 15 km north of Morondava is the famous Baobab Avenue and the Twin Baobab. The best times to visit are at sunset and sunrise, when the colors of the trees change, a good opportunity to take a photo during the sunset. Overnight at Top Hotel option: Baobab Café or Palissandre de l’Ouest in HB or in Midrange Hotel option: Chez Maggie or Renala Sable d’Or in BB.

Day 6: Morondava - Antsirabe.
We depart after breakfast going to Antsirabe. We stop in Miandrivazo for lunch. Other stops would be necessary since magnificent landscape, amazing viewpoint, including stop to interact and learn local cultures. We settle in your hotel when arriving in Antsirabe for overnight at Top Hotel: Plumeria, in BB or in Midrange Hotel: Vatolahy or Chambre des Voyageur or in Couleur Café, in BB.

Day 7: Antsirabe - Tana.
This morning, we go to Tritrivalake, visiting this crater area. Then, city tour visiting various workshops. We leave Antsirabe going to Tana, then settle in your hotel for overnight at Top Hotel: Louvre (Top) or Hotel Brajas or Chalet de Roses (Midrange), in BB.

Day 8: Tana - Andasibe.
We start our journey towards the Eastern part of the island. When reaching Andasibe National Park, we will explore the famous Vakona island for close up experiences bringing home lots of photo opportunities, a reserve where four species of lemurs make home in this so-called lemurs island. By the end of the day and we do our first visit of the park that same evening to discover some nocturnal animals. Overnight at Top Hotel: Vakona Forest Lodge (Top) in BB or at Andasibe Hotel or in Mid-range Hotel: Feon’ny Ala or Grace Lodge in BB.

Day 9: Andasibe - Palmarium.

This morning, we start our hike criss crossing the forest of Analamazoatra. This reserve ranks amongst the most visited area in Madagascar due to its wealth of exceptional biodiversity. On top of our agenda, this morning exploration will grant us a chance to see lots of animals and especially the Indri Indri, the biggest lemur, having a short tail, impersonating rather than emulating the physical look of the panda but its astounding eerie calls reaching kilometers away set an alarm for visitor to easily recognize it. Besides, there are tons of animals can be observed in this reserve other than lemurs since birds, reptiles, amphibians and so many more make their home in this reserve. After the visit, we leave Andasibe departing to Palmarium, passing by Manambato where we will take a fast motor boat going to Ankanin’ny Nofy. This luxuriant vegetation, the Palmarium is more than a relaxing place since you can visit the small private reserve where lemurs are easy to find. The Palmarium is located on a peninsula of more than 30 hectares on the Ampitabe Lake. Overnight at Palmarium bungalow (high-midrange).

Day 10: Palmarium - Andasibe.
After breakfast, we will spend some hours visiting the reserve before embarking on our fast motor boat then drive to Andasibe. Overnight at: Top Hotel: Vakona Forest Lodge (Top) in BB or Andasibe Hotel or in Mid-range Hotel: at the hotel Feon’ny Ala or Grace Lodge in BB.

Day 11: Andasibe Visit - Tana.
We devote this morning in search of some other species of lemurs like , the diademed sifakas, the eastern woolly lemur, and some reptiles such as the biggest chameleon known as the Parson, some rare birds as well. After the visit, leave Andasibe and drive to Antananarivo overnighting at hotel du Louvre (Top) or at the hotel Chalet des Roses (high-midrange),at the Hotel Brajas (high-midrange), in BB.

Day 12: Fly Home.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for flight taking you back home and our service ends.
