Day 1: ARRIVAL IN RADOVLJICA. (guesthouse 3*). Radovljica is a small historic town near famous Lake Bled. It has a lovely restored medieval town center, a large palace with two interesting museums and a nice piazza with relaxing terraces.

Day 2: RADOVLJICA – TALEZ HILL – LAKE BLED 13 km round trip. Alpine walk (hotel 4*).
Starting on the town square you start your hike with a short climb from the confluence of the two Sava Rivers takes you up to the Jelovica high plateau, a popular walk for locals; mostly because it’s a great picnic spot to enjoy good food and cold beer amid the sweeping vistas of the opposing Karavanke mountain range. The return to Bled leads you along the quiet, shady riverside of the Sava Bohinjka.

Day 3: LAKE BLED – VINTGAR GORGE - LAKE BLED 14 km. (hotel 4*).
You will be transferred through the Radovna Valley to the start of the stunning 1.6km Vintgar Gorge, carved 150m deep into the mountains by the Radovna River. A wooden walkway takes you along and over a series of rapids and mini waterfalls thundering through the gorge and culminating at the Sum Waterfall. The trail continues back to Bled Lake, via the lovely Katarina Church viewpoint.

Day 4: LAKE BLED – KOPRIVNIK VIEWPOINT - STRAZA BEACON HILL – LAKE BLED 15,5 km. (hotel 4*). Spend the day on the shore of the beautiful glacial lake Bled. A short panoramic walk can be taken to the villages of Kupljenik and Bela. Head to the western side for the best photos and views of the lake, castle and Karawanke range, and take the trail up to Osojnica for the classic postcard vista.

Day 5: (car transfer) BLED – BOVEC. Canyon and hillside walk (hotel 3*). A morning car transfer brings you to the starting point of your walk – entrance to the Moznica river canyon. The landscape and surrounding mountains you will walk through were once background to many WW1 battles. Several bitter battles were fought here between the Austrian Empire and the Italians. The trail passes by the remains of many once mighty fortifications.

Day 6: BOVEC – VIRJE WATERFALL – BOVEC 13.5 kms. (hotel 3*). Mountain meadows & forest walks. A relaxing stroll brings you to the western town of Bovec, where the theme here is pure water. A little stream with an impossibly pronounceable name, Gljun, is fed by the vast underground world of the Kanin limestone range. Depending on the weather and season, its waters tumble down a 30-foot waterfall before entering the Soca River. The return to Bovec takes you through broad meadows resplendent with summer wildflower, whose backdrop is dominated by the “Slovene Matterhorn” Mt. Svinjak.

Day 7: BOVEC – ZMUKLICA RIVER CANYON – KLUZE FORTRESS – ST. LENART CHURCH – BOVEC 14 km. Riverside / valley walk. (hotel 3*). The final day takes you to the "Queen of the Alpine Waters" – the emerald-coloured River Soca. Its breathtaking colours have wowed many walkers and water sportsmen for centuries. Freshen up in one of the shallow ponds and continue on towards Kluze Fortress. Built more than a century ago to block access to Southern Austria, it has survived all subsequent wars and is now an impressive anti-war museum.
