Day 1: Vilnius.

Arrival to Vilnius, meeting by the guide and transfer to the hotel, check in. Overnight in Vilnius.

Day 2: Vilnius – Trakai - Vilnius.

Breakfast at the hotel. Vilnius Old Town guided walking tour. You will see Vilnius Cathedral and its square, the University campus, Pilies street with the 16 – 18th century historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St. Anne’s and Bernardine churches, the former Town Hall square, the Dawn Gate with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, the 17th century Baroque church of St. Peter and Paul. Trakai Castle sightseeing tour, recommended lunch in Lithuanian Karaim restaurant. Trakai is the ancient capital of Lithuania is now famous for its 15th century insular castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and 17 – 18th century applied art, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimea. Overnight in Vilnius.

Day 3: Vilnius – Kaunas – Palanga.

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided departure to Palanga with sightseeing tour in Kaunas. Kaunas with nearly 400 thousand inhabitants is one of the most significant cities of Lithuania. During the early 20th century, governed by its first Burgomaster Jonas Vileisis, Kaunas was the home of the Lithuanian Government and the capital city; a period considered by many as the golden age of the city... Palanga tour includes most famous spots in the resort area town, one of the prettiest, best preserved, best maintained parks in Lithuania’s coastal region - Palanga Botanical Park and the Palace of Count Feliksas Tiskevicius (now Amber Museum) which was built in 1897 according to the project of a German architect Franz Schwechten. In your free time enjoy a walk on Basanavicus street where you will find a lot of cafes and different attractions. This is the main street leading to the Pier. Overnight in Palanga.

Day 4: Palanga – the Curonian Spit – Palanga.

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided morning tour of Klaipeda – gateway to the Curonian Spit. During the tour you will see the best of Klaipeda’s Old Town with its “Fachwerk” and neogothic buildings. Cross by ferry to the Curonian Spit included in UNESCO heritage list, Curonian Spit sightseeing with the guide. At this beatiful place of the world - the Curonian Spit - you will discover the Great Dune, with its magnificent panoramic view, the old fishermen’s cottages at Nida, the “Hill of Witches”, Thomas Mann's summer house in Nida. To make your visit really unforgettable we advice you to visit the Maritime Museum and Dolphinarium where you may observe live dolphin show. Overnight in Palanga.

Day 5: Palanga – the Hill of Crosses – Rundale Palace – Bauska Castle – Riga.

Hill of Crosses - a small hill covered with thousands of crosses has become a symbol of Lithuanian nationhood and deep religious faith. Since mid 19th century it has been the place of expressing gratitude to God for divine favors. Rundale Palace & French park & recommended lunch in Rundale Palace restaurant. Rundale Palace — the most beautiful baroque palace in the Baltics (18th century). The palace is an outstanding example of the early work of Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

Bauska Castle.

The Bauska Castle consists of a fortress built by the Livonian Order in the middle of the 15th century, a forecastle converted into the Dukes of Courland's residence at the end of the 16th century and ramparts from the 17th-18th century. Evening arrival in Riga, hotel check in. Overnight in Riga.

Day 6: Riga.

Breakfast at the hotel. Riga Old Town guided walking tour. During the walking Riga tour you will enjoy beauty of the ancient Hanseatic city, while strolling through the cobble-stone, pictorial streets of the Old Town. In Old Riga you will see 13th century St.Peter's, St.George's and St. John's Churches, a part of restored city wall and the medieval John's yard. You will walk to the heart of old Riga - the Dome Square - Dome Cathedral and learn about the famous 19th century organ - one of the biggest organs in Europe. The route also includes visits to the medieval dwelling houses "Three Brothers", 13th century St.Jacob's Church, 14th century Riga Castle, Convent Yard, The Philharmonic Square, the Saeima building, Jacob's Barracks, the Powder Tower and Smilsu street, the Swedish Gate (inspired numerous myths and legends). Day 7: Riga – Sigulda – Cesis – Riga.

Breakfast at the hotel. One day guided sightseeing tour to Sigulda and Cesis. Sigulda is one of the most picturesque towns in Latvia in the Gauja River valley, situated in the Gauja National Park and is known as the most popular tourist and leisure destination as well as famous winter sport resort in Latvia because of its bobsleigh track and the down-hill skiing routes. You will see the Medieval Sigulda Castle, Sigulda new Castle (Kropotkin Palace), Turaida Medieval Castle, visit local history museum, Gutmana cave, Krimulda Manor and other historical and natural objects.

Free time for lunch in Sigulda. Cesis is an ancient, little town placed 90 km from Riga and has unique medieval atmosphere, wonderful nature to be found around the town, interesting festivals and different recreation opportunities. 
Taking a walk along Cesis tiny streets, you will get a flavour of this medieval town, see St. John’s Church-the largest church in northern Latvia, Council House, Trader’s House, Harmony House and the Princesses House, as well as discover the magic of the Livs and Rose Squares. Guide will introduce you to the Cesis Castle complex and will show you the Castle Park that adjoins the Old Town where will see the Nut clan – Cesis oldest resident, - and its Castle mound. Overnight in Riga.

Day 8: Riga.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Riga airport and departure back home.
