Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival, Muscat.

Today you arrive to Muscat. Our guide will meet you at the airport and drive to the hotel. This day you can relax, explore the downtown and prepare yourself for the next day trip. Overnight at 3* DMAS hotel in Muscat. (Meals: Dinner).

Day 2: Muscat.

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we start our half day tour around Muscat. We first visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and continue to one of the best theatres in the world, Royal Opera House Muscat. Driving through Qurum corniche, we enjoy the beauty of the sea side and lovely local villas. Our next stop is a very colourful fish market of old Muttrah, where we can find all kind of fish from the ocean and where local fishermen selling their daily products. We then walk along Muttrah corniche and visit a traditional Muttrah souq rich in gold, antiques, local dresses, pashminas, spices and plenty of souvenirs. Our next stop is Old Muscat where we have a visit to Al Zubair Museum, walk on the ground of Al Alam Palace and look at Al Mirani and Al Jalali forts.
Overnight at 3* DMAS Hotel in Muscat. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner).

Day 3: Nakhal, Wadi Bani Kharus, Wadi Bani Awf, Al Hamra, Jebel Shams.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. After breakfast we drive to Bateena and visit a beautiful Nakhal fort. Have a quick stop at the hot springs and move toward to Wadi Bani Kharus to learn about the oldest rocks of Oman and ancient rock arts, some of them are as much as 1500 years old. Wadi Bani Awf is one of the most beautiful and adventurous wadis in Oman and today you have a chance to experience it. Picnic lunch, fresh air, lovely Balad Syed village and an impressive cliffs are just a small part of our journey through this wadi. Driving to the top of Jebel Shams will give us an unique chance to have a nice shots of the picks and picturesque Grand canyon. We have a short walk inside of the canyon before arriving to the resort for the sunset at the top of the mountain.
Overnight at 3* Jebel Shams Resort. (Meals: Breakfast, Picnic lunch, Dinner).

Day 4: Misfat Al Abryeen, Al Hamra, Bait Al Safah, Bahla, Jabreen, Wadi Tanuf, Birkat Al Mouwz, Nizwa.

Breakfast at the Resort. Check out. After breakfast we drive down of Jebel Shams for a visit to the village of Al Abryeen where an Omani people still live in an ancient traditional houses. Here we walk through the village to the palm plantations with its falaj system. Enjoy the sun, fresh air, lush grinery and a good company! We then stop at Bait Al Safah heritage house, where local women and children live their daily lives, for a coffee break.

Next part of our day will take us to Al Abryeen old village where we walk along an ancient falaj system in a pleasant shade of fruit plantations before stop at the traditional stone house for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Misfah Al Abryeen Guest House. (Meals: Breakfast, Coffee break, Dinner)

Day 5: Nizwa, Wahiba Sands.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Today we have an early wake up, have our breakfast and move to Nizwa for a visit to an impressive Livestock Market. As well, we visit a 17th century Nizwa Fort and its traditional souq of silver, weapons, spices, Omani sweets and fruits.

Now we take our route toward to the world famous sands of Wahiba. Here we have a unique possibility to have a visit to a Bedouin family and enjoy their hospitality during a traditional Bedou lunch. For those who wish to ride a camel, the ship of the desert, the family will offer their own ones. After riding the camels, we then drive to the desert camp, relax in the sands before watching a beautiful sunset and enjoy an Arabic coffee with light snacks on the top of the dunes. Overnight at Nomadic Desert Camp. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 6: Wahiba Sands, Wai Bani Khalid, Sur, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve.

Breakfast at the Camp. Check out. After breakfast we drive to Bidiya and visit Bidiya castle and The Museum. Wadi Bani Khalid is our next stop where we can enjoy swimming in a fresh waters, explore the secrets of Muhal cave and have a teasty lunch. Sur is a motherland of Omani sailors. Here we visit dhow building yard, lights house before heading to the Ras Al Khaad, our place of stay this night. Enjoy sunshine, sea waters and quite sandy beach before leaving for a turtle watching tour. Overnight at 3* Turtle Beach Resort. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 7: Sur, Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Shab, Sink Hole, Muscat.

Breakfast at the Resort. Check out. After breakfast we visit an ancient city of Qalhat and have an adventurous driving in Wadi Tiwi, full of lush palm plantations and springs. On our return, we then hike inside of Wadi Shab, swim in a fresh pools before reaching the secret cavern with waterfall. On our way back to Muscat we stop at the beautiful Sink Hole.
Overnight at 3* DMAS Hotel in Muscat. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 8: Muscat.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure flight home. Or extend your stay in Oman. (Meals: Breakfast only). End of services.
