It's not every day that you have the opportunity to attend the celebrations and festivals of the Miao ethnic group in Guizhou.

Day 1: Guiyang-Kaili Dinner is included. Upon arrival at the Guiyang airport, your local guide is there to welcome you. After greeting, you will head to Kaili which is in the heart of Guizhou. After check in the hotel at Kaili, you can visit the main square of Kaili and attend local square dances (depending on the weather of the day).

Day 2: Kaili Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are included. This morning, you will head to Leishan to participate in the Miao New Year Festivals and Celebrations which will take place throughout the day in the city. It will take you an hour to reach Leishan and you will pass many ethnic villages along the way. You just ask your guide and you can make a stop in any village for photo shoot. Once in Leishan, attend the inauguration of the festival; an hour-long parade is in the program in early afternoon. Then you can see an exhibition on intangible heritage of the Miao ethnic group. Suffice it to say, this will be an opportunity to meet local and get acquainted with their rich culture. The exhibition ends around 4 pm, then you have the rest of the afternoon free to join the rest of the festivals and celebrations before return to Kaili.

Day 3: Kaili Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are included. Today, discover the minority villages around Kaili where the festivals and celebrations are ongoing. You first visit the Langde Miao Village between Kaili and Leishan. This small Miao village nestled in a quiet green valley which is bordered by the Bala River. It is as you stroll through the surrounding hills you will find the essence of the Miao people. On the way back, you go through the Miao village of Datang. Here women meet a very unusual tradition: they wear mini skirts! These are not modern mini skirts you see in your daily life but are the traditional costumes of Miao ethnic group. In this village you will discover the exceptional constructions of barns on stilts which you rarely see in your country. Last, get your camera ready before join the long table banquet. Tradition dictates the local Miao people put various dishes onto a long and winding table for everyone to share: there are chicken, corns, bacons, vegetable, and sure Sour Soup Fish. Pretty Miao girls keep proposing toasts to the guests and the locals. The long table banquet is able to accommodate up to 1,000 people at the

Day 4: Kaili Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are included. In the morning, go attend the special festivals of the ethnic groups of southern China: bullfight and pig-fight. It will be a special day in your life! In the afternoon, return to Leishan to admire the Miao artists at work. The competition of this afternoon is to create the most beautiful embroidery. This will be your opportunity to discover some of the finest pieces from Miao people. Songs and dances of Lusheng are also scheduled to excite the entire city of Leishan. Do not miss anything during such a special experience.

Day 5: Kaili Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are included. This morning, climb on the Mount Leishan to admire the breathtaking landscapes of wooden villages frozen in time. In the afternoon, head to the Xijiang Miao Village, 80 kilometers away from Kaili. This set of villages is home to the largest minority community of Miao in the region. There are 1,000 families in this area and most of those who live there represent the charm of Xijiang. Here, wooden house with tile roofs, traditional costumes and ethnic songs are at the rendezvous.

Day 6: Kaili-Guiyang Breakfast is included. After the night in the quiet village of Xijiang. Find your guide in the lobby of the Inn and return to Guiyang. Once arriving at the airport, it is time to say goodbye, but, don't worry, you leave with unforgettable memories.
