A traditional safari game drive involves wildlife-tracking and viewing in a four-wheel-drive vehicle (Cruiser or a van) with a professional driver and/or guide. They range in duration from several hours to full days exploring the bush seeking a glimpse of East Africa's remarkable creatures. Game viewing opportunities are the best in the early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler and animals are more active. Night game drives are also an option. Our professional guides are familiar with the best places to see different species during different seasons.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi/Maasai Mara.
From Nairobi you drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Mara Reserve arriving in good time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner served and overnight spent at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara.
The day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5 among other game. Meals and overnight at the Tented Camp. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary and most visited game reserve in Kenya. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve is rich with bird life.
Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park at an extra cost of US$450.

Day 3: Masai Mara/Nairobi.
Morning game drive to further explore the park, then you drive back to Nairobi via Narok, where our safari ends.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

Price Includes:
- Transportation in special safari vehicle comfortable for game viewing
- Full board accommodation in the lodge
- Game drives as mentioned
- All Park entry fees
- 1 litre drinking water per person per day
