Each morning rise before the sun to make early morning salutations, practice one’s Yoga and delve into some of the concepts of meditation. After dining on some of the most delicious, organic cuisine of the region, explore what the area has to offer. Gaze over the gorgeous views of Machu Picchu that is only enjoyed by the Condor and the lucky few who visit the ancient citadel. Take a lovely bike tour through the lush Sacred Valley to visit the agricultural site of Moray and to Maras to see the extraordinary salt mines. After each afternoon tour enjoy dining on unique native dishes with scenic picnics and a Pachamanca Dinner. After the Peruvian Meditation Tour travelers will feel a deeper sense of one’s self, what truly makes them happy, and a sense of calm.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Peru!
Reception at airport and transfer to the hotel. Lunch at Greens Organics. After lunch experience a welcome like no other by a local Shaman. The Shaman will greet everyone for a ritualistic, traditional welcome at this incredibly beautiful hotel located in Cusco. This experience is a traditional Andean welcome carried out by a local shaman. After the introduction to Cusco visit the incredible Sacsayhuaman temple and look out over the city of Cusco and reconnect with the earth after the flight. Later this afternoon enjoy a private walking tour of Cusco and visit the Korikancha Temple, or Temple of the Sun, along with the Cathedral and its Art Museum.

Day 2: Cusco - Machu Picchu
Rise early this morning for a 5-minute travel meditation to focus on breathing and good travel for the day. At the appropriate time, be met at the hotel and transferred to the train station. Vistadome Train to Machu Picchu with private guided tour of the Ruins. The train will take Yampu Travelers through the Sacred Valley of the Incas up to the town of Aguas Calientes. From here, board a bus to Machu Picchu and then have a private guided tour of the ruins. Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, was a flourishing ceremonial and agricultural site, probably the gateway to the jungle marshes of the Inca Empire. The central buildings were erected with the polished stone works of the Cusco Imperial style, though the site was probably occupied well before the Incas started their expansion. It was associated with the earth cult revolving around the coca leaf, which was a privilege of the Inca royal family and priests. Enjoy lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, at the entrance of the ruins, before returning to the hotel at one’s leisure. In the evening, enjoy a wonderful dinner at the hotel or in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Wake up early for morning sun salutation in the orchid garden and then head back up Machu Picchu Mountain for an incredible hike that heads to the mountain that overlooks the ancient ruins. Here there will be the opportunity for further meditation. The views here are truly breathtaking! While gazing down over these incredible mountains take in the same view as the sacred Condor. In the afternoon, have lunch in Cafe Inkaterra and then board the train to the Sacred Valley. Reception at train station and transfer to Hotel in the Sacred Valley. This evening enjoy a delicious, organic and local Peruvian dinner at the Sol y Luna.

Day 4:Sacred Valley
Get in touch with the rhythm of nature by rising for an early morning meditation.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and spend the morning practicing yoga as well as delving into some of the concepts of meditation. Spend time in silence and discover inner happiness. Escape the noise and busyness of daily life and take a time in. Enjoy a healthy, organic, lunch at the hotel before biking in Maras. This afternoon be picked up and transfer to the route of Sacred Valley of the Incas, to reach Cruzpata in the Pampas of Chinchero. From here, begin an exciting bicycle tour from the Huaypo Lagoon to reach the experimental Agricultural Site of Moray. The journey continues toward the town of Maras to see the extraordinary salt mines. This unforgettable experience finishes with a 30-40-minute descent to Pichingoto, crossing the Urubamba River where a private bus will be waiting to transfer to the Luxury Picnic in the Maras/Moray area with Veronica Glacier in View.

Day 5: Sacred Valley
Get in touch with the rhythm of nature by rising for an early morning meditation then enjoy a leisurely breakfast and spend the morning practicing yoga as well as delving into some of the concepts of meditation. In the afternoon enjoy a healthy, organic, lunch at the hotel before starting today’s tour en route to the Pisac archaeological vestiges, which as the largest complex of terraces in the area and a masterpiece of the agriculture of the Inca Empire.

Day 6: Sacred Valley - Cusco - Flight Home
Breakfast and Early Morning Meditation. Rise early in the morning for a final early morning meditation. Greet the sun with a final leisurely breakfast while spending the morning practicing more yoga as well as delving into more concepts of meditation. At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel in the sacred valley to Cusco airport for the next flight.
