Chobe National Park is one of the best wilderness reserves in the world and is home to the largest concentration of elephant in the region. Throughout the year, herds of buffalo and elephant can be seen drinking at the river’s edge with their numbers rising into hundreds and thousands during the dry season. The only park where one has a realist chance of encountering lions and an incredible variety of other wildlife species on a one day trip.

Day 1.
Transfer from Vic falls/Livingstone Town, Cruise, Game Drive, Camping. The trip departs Victoria Falls at 7:30 am, and you will only be in Chobe at about 9:00 am. We will start with a three hours boat cruise on the Chobe River. This is punctuated by buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge (a four star Hotel). After lunch it's time for the game viewing safari in our custom made 4x4 open safari vehicles the Chobe National Park. The safari will take another three hours in the park before driving slowly to the Ihaha or Hitab camp which is right in the Park. This is not a participatory safari, the guide and his camping staff will do all the cooking and you sit back and enjoy the safari.

The Chobe is the only river in this park and as such all the wildlife congregates along the river banks for a drink. This makes it one of the easiest and most rewarding safari options. Lions and other predators are also easily seen as they follow these herbivores to and from the drink. Just make sure you have got enough pictures space on your camera!

Day 2.
Another full Day Game Viewing Safari. We depart early for the for an early morning game viewing, just following the sounds and the distress calls the we will have heard during the night, and in most case we will get to see the fresh kills of the previous night. We will return to the camp for branch and sleep, before breaking camp and herding back in the wild for the afternoon safari. We will leave the Chobe National Park at about 3:00 pm and be at the border at about 4 pm for the transfer back to Victoria Falls.
