This unique expedition crosses the Arctic Circle and includes the isolated and pristine Wrangel and Herald Islands and a significant section of the wild, northeastern Siberian coastline. It is a journey only made possible in recent years by the political thawing in the region and the retreat of summer pack-ice in the Chukchi Sea. The very small distances between Russia and the USA along this border area were known as the Ice Curtain, behind which – then and now – lies one of the last great undiscovered wilderness areas in the world!

Please note that a leader may not accompany the expedition unless a minimum of 10 participants are signed up through us. In the case that a leader is not on board, the professional expedition staff will take care of all participants signed up through us.

Please note: these prices exclude a landing fee of US$500 per person, as well as the cost of the private return charter flight between Nome and Anadyr of US$2,000 per person for those who choose this option. Furthermore, these prices are subject to foreign exchange fluctuations.

The same applies to approximate domestic flight and single supplement rates, which are also quoted in the respective fixed currency.
