Day 1:
- Welcoming you at Bucharest Intl. Aiport
- heading directly for the town of Suceava. (430 km / 267 miles - six hrs. drive)
- Accommodation: 3 star hotel in Suceava.

Day 2:
Visiting the painted monasteries in northern Bucovina.

8.30: breakfast at hotel in Suceava
9.00: leaving for Sucevita monastery.

Suceava is the former capital of Moldavia. The city host the ruins of the citadel and some interesting churches, the most famous being Mirauti church, the church where the Moldavian kings where crowned. Marginea village is famous for the black pottery. Sucevita painted monastery was erected between 1581 – 1584 by Grigore Movila. It is also a fortified monastery with 6 m. tall walls. The painted church has the largest number of paintings on the exterior walls. Moldovita painted monastery is the first of painted monasteries to be visited. It is situated on Moldovita valley in Valea Moldovitei village. The monastery was erected 1532 – 1537 by Peru Rares and it is fortified. The monastery was declared UNESCO monument and was awarded with “The Golden Apple” by the International Federation of the Journalists. Voronet painted monastery was erected by Stefan the Great in 1488, in just 3 months and 21 days. The main color of the exterior painting is blue, known as “Voronet blue”. Humor monastery was founded in 1530 is keeping exterior painting dating from 1535.

Campulung Moldovenesc is known as the city of wood. The pine forests find good climate. The city is famous by its unique museum of wood.

Rarau Mts are limestone mountains part of Eastern Carpathians. Strange rocks make it famous in Romania, as well as the winter sports facilities.

Day 4: Hiking Rarau Mts.

9.00-10.00 Transfer to Vatra Dornei
10.30-20.00 Moderate trek to Rarau chalet through Giumalau peak (1857 m / 6093 ft) Accommodation: Rarau chalet.

Day 5: Transfer to Sighisoara. (250 km / 155 miles). Driving time: 5 hrs
9.00: Wake up
9.30: breakfast at the chalet
10.00: descending to Campulung Moldovenesc. Transfer to Sighisoara by Vatra Dornei, Bistrita, Reghin, Targu Mures.

Sightseeing objectives: Vatra Dornei is a well famous spa, the mineral waters made it one of the oldest spa in Romania, the Casino and old mineral springs make from Vatra Dornei the pearl of Eastern Crpathians.

Targu Mures is one of the largest city in Transylvania, a former trade city on the Mures river. The Orthodox cathedral in one of the bigest in the country, am important touristic objective is the citadel, now restored in a beaoutiful park.

Sighisoara is an unique city ib Europe being the single citadel still dwelt. The Clock Tower, The Hill Church, the defense bastions and walls are as many things to see in a fabulous medieval city. Sighisoara is knows as city where Vlad Dracul (Dracula) was born. Accommodation: ** tourist pension in Sighisoara.

Day 6: Transfer to Fagaras Mts.
9.00: Wake up
9.30: breakfast at the pension
10.00: transfer by car to Fagaras Mts.

Sightseeing objectives:
- Medias medieval city, the city still exhibits the tower where Dracula was kept in prison for several months before being moved to Budapest.
- Sibiu is one of the largest medieval cities in Romania, very well preserved. The city's wealth was given by the commerce with Wallachia and by its manufactures specialized in wool. Sibiu hosts one of the most important museum in Romania (Brukenthall Museum) and also the largest open air museum in Romania: Astra Museum - Museum of Popular Technique
- Fagaras Mts. are known as The Transylvanian Alps having pecks of over 2500 m, and also the highest point in Romania 2545 m on Moldoveanu peck. Many glacial lakes, large alpine grasslands, and wild fauna (bear, linx, wolf, chamoix). Accommodation: chalet Balea Lac.

Day 7: Trekking on Fagaras Mts.
9.00: Wake up
9.30: breakfast at the chalet
10.00: leaving for Caltun glacial lake.

- Hiking time: ~ 6-8 hours
- Height difference: +m, - m. (+ feet; - feet)
- Sightseeing objectives: the impresive narow ridge of Fagaras Mts. Laitel peck, nice perspectives over Negoiu peck, Caltun peck, Lespezi peck, Caltun glacial lake
- Accommodation: camping at Caltun glacial lake.

Day 8: Trekking Fagaras Mts. and transfer to Predeal.
9.00: Leaving the camp site at Caltun lake to Negoiu Peak (2535 m / 8317 ft) the second highest in Romania. The path will fallow the alpine ridge at over 2500 m / 8200 ft altitude. It is a demanding long hike of about 6-8 hours.
17.00 transfer to Predeal. Accommodation at 3 star hotel in Predeal.

Day 9: Trekking on Bucegi Mts.
9.00: Leaving Predeal to Malaiesti glacial valey. The path will take us at Diham chalet, where we rest before a steep climb to Malaiesti valley. It is a demanding long hike of about 7-9 hours.
18.00 arriving and accommodation at Malaiesti hut / camping.

Day 10: Trekking Bucegi Mts.
9.00: Leaving Malaiesti hut heading for Omu peak, the highest in Bucegi Mts. at 2505 m / 8219 ft. The path will follow the alpine ridge at over 2500 m / 8200 ft altitude. It is a demanding long hike of about 6-8 hours.
18.00 accommodation at Omu hot, the highest accommodation unit in Romania.

Day 11: Hiking Bucegi Mts., transfer to Bucharest.
9.00: Leaving the Omu hut, starting a long descent to Babele plateau and chalet. On Babele plateau can be seen the most interesting nature shapes rocks, the most impressive being the Sphinx, similar with the Egiptean Sfinx from Gizeth. From Babele chalet the path follows the alpine plateau to Piatra Arsa Complex, over Furnica peak to Miorita chalet and then to Sinaia. It is a moderate long hike of about 6-8 hours.
20.00 transfer to Bucharest. Accommodation in 3 star hotel.

Day 12: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
