Amazing combined tour includes helicopter flight to Ukok plateau, fascinating mountain valley near Mongolian border famous for its perfectly preserved archaeological items of different ages. Discover the unique «Martian” plateau which included to UNESKO list as a part of "Golden Mountain of Altai", and place of excavations of famous Altai Princess. The tour shows all the variety of the Altai Mountains changing amazingly and surprising by its beauty. The second part of the route runs to recess part of Altai – the Chulyshman River which contrasting with harsh features of Ukok.

Day 1: Welcome to Siberia. We can meet you at Novosibirsk airport (450 km), Barnaul airport (250 km) or Gorno-Altaysk airport (10 km). This day of meeting with our team, signing tourist contract. Upon arrive manager of tour gives briefing noting the most important for safety journey.

Day 2: Transferring to airfield, loading the equipment. Helicopter flight to Ukok plateau. Take your cameras on! The flight opens the most part of Katun Basin, Belukha Mountain and Argut gorge. Flight time is 2 hours estimated. Settling a base camp

Day 3: Auto journey to Bertek petroglyphs depends on opportunity of crossing river Kalguta. If the level of Kalguta River is safety low, we go down the River to the mouth to Berket petroglyphs. Back to base camp

Day 4: Moving to Muzda-Bulyk River, place of Altai princess excavations. Auto journey to Ak-Allaha River. Passing several cute lakes and crossing Ak-Alaha we get to mounds place of excavation of Ukok princess. Back to a base camp.

Day 5: Moving to Meny Lakes. Following the way we stop at Dzhumalinskie spring, a radon spring has a nature monument status. We pass Kurai steppe, Dead Lakes and stop near unique Meny Lakes on the territory of camping for overnight.

Day 6: Moving to Chulyshman River along Chuya highway. Passing “Red Gates”, one of the strongest energy spots in Altai, Pazyryk mounds, Ulagan Pass and Katu-Yaryk pass, one of the hardest in Altai. Accommodations in camp base. Trekking to Kurkure waterfall.

Day 7: Auto journey along Chulyshman Valley to the South shore of Teletskoe Lake, hiking to Kyrsay cape. Trekking to the "Stone mushrooms”

Day 8: Challenge of a day is trekking to Uchar waterfall. Path takes a whole day and requires insistence and physical conditions.

Day 9: Moving to the “Cedar Iceland” a base in Chemal village. Visiting Kalbak-Tash a unique complex of petroglyphs.

Day 10: Excursion to the Patmos cloister, the Chemal hydroelectric station. Acoustic concert of ethnic musicians, Altai throat singing. Staging of the shaman ceremony.

Day 11: Day of Leaving tourist camp. Departure. We can assist you in getting the airport or any place you want. Barnaul airport (530 km), Novosibirsk airport (880 km) or Gorno-Altaysk airport (100 km). Transfer to airport is not included into price.
