Day 1: Welcome to Split.

Split is the capital of Dalmatia. Once known as the Gateway to the Islands, the Dalmatian capital of Split is Croatia's fastest growing tourist destination, and a city which is on the move. Tourists are now staying longer and discovering the additional treasures of this increasingly international city beyond its main attraction, the 1700 year-old UNESCO World Heritage site, Diocletian's Palace, which was built as a retirement home for a Roman emperor of the same name. With sea, beaches, islands, mountains, culture, heritage and a sensational gourmet scene, it is little wonder that Split is becoming known as one of Europe's hippest and complete tourist destinations.

Depending of your time of arrival our staff will meet you ate your hotel and we will provide you detailed briefing for upcoming days and you will get a road-book with necessary descriptions, vouchers and tickets. Today is great day to enjoy and easy walk on Marjan peninsula. Marjan is also known as the lungs of the town, it is a beautiful and protected park forest where people go all year round to walk, run, cycle, climb, meditate...there are beaches on all three sides of it, little churches, trails, viewpoints – it's perfect and most immediate Split's getaway worth exploring, even for a day. The true locals can’t imagine living in Split without Marjan – for many it meant first time experiencing nature, love, first day-trip, first kiss and so on…Greeks had built there a little temple dedicated to goddess Diana, some five centuries ago hermits walled up caves in the vertical rocks and used to contemplate life “far from civilization”, even back then. Nowadays there’s a rock climbing going on right there around those dwellings that adds a little sense of holiness to the activity and peace needed for making the right moves. Although it’s only about 3,5 kilometers long there are a lot of ways to “lose” yourself in it, be it by jogging, exploring its viewpoints or various species of Mediterranean herbs and plants growing along its paths winding through shade of pine trees in the north side. The south side is warmer and more exposed to the sun thus being better in the winter months. Throughout history poets have dedicated their verses and countless volunteers have given their time to help preserving it; for people of Split Marjan is a special place and hopefully you will like it. Overnight in a hotel in Split. Optional: walk to Marjan peninsula.

Day 2: From Split to Hvar.

The sunny island of Hvar is well known for its good weather and breathtaking unspoiled nature. Hvar town is an ancient city with rich history. With its architecture, beautiful nature and mild climate many would describe it as a true fairy-tale city, unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and mundane, tourist present. Hvar gained glory and power during middle ages being an important port within the Venetian, naval empire. Today, it is center of island’s tourism and one of the favorite destinations in Dalmatian Riviera - a town of smiling and courteous people, who are almost only dedicated to tourism. No matter if you choose a longer of shorter hike, you would pass through forgotten villages of Hvar. Full of life and tradition in the past, but today those stand almost abandoned and forgotten witnessing our turbulent and rich history. Overnight in Hvar. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: Hiking.

Day 3: Hvar town.
Enjoy your day in Hvar town. Walk to its fortresses or simply enjoy a beach or optional sea kayaking activity. It is your day at leisure to rest your feet and soak the atmosphere of one of the most prominent islands in Croatia. If you still would like to do a hike, we have a suggestion or two ready to choose. Overnight in Hvar. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: Hiking.

Day 4: Hike to hills above the town of Jelsa.
A shuttle will take you from Hvar town to the town of Jelsa. Today you will have choice of several hiking routs which depart from Jelsa. All depending on your choice of how long you would like to hike that day. Both of suggested trails start from Jelsa and climb up to the hills above it where you can see an old Greek fortress and city walls of medieval town situated high on cliffs. Or you can just continue the trail high up on the ridge of the island and end in small shepherds settlement called Humac. Accommodation: Jelsa, Hvar island. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: Optional.

Day 5: Highest peak of Brac Island.

Today you will board on early morning ferry, form a port which is walking distance from your accommodation. It is about 20min journey to cross the channel from Jelsa to Bol on the island of Brac. With its 395 km2 Brac makes the largest island in Dalmatian region. Divided by Brac Channel only 13 km wide from the mainland and city of Split, this island is 40 km long and 12 km average in width. Its highest peak, Vidova Gora (778 m) is also the highest peak of all Adriatic islands. Bol is famous for its Golden Horn beach, one of the largest and most beautiful attractions of the Adriatic. Like a small tongue it extends nearly half a kilometer into the clear blue sea. Today our goal is to reach Vidova Gora – the highest peak of the island. There is an uphill trail starting from Bol all the way to the top. There are several options/trails available as you climb up to the peak, so you can decide how long would you like to hike for. A shuttle will take your luggage to the hotel in Supetar, where you will end after selected hiking route. Accommodation: Supetar, Brac island. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: Hiking.

Day 6: Explore Brac Island.
Today there will be several hiking routes you can choose starting from your hotel in Supetar. Enjoy your day exploring Brac hiking and swimming. Accommodation: Supetar, Brac Island. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: Hiking.

Day 7: Split/ End of the tour.
Depending of your travelling plans you can choose time to get on a morning ferry back to Split. Return to Split port and end of the tour. Accommodation: none. Meals: Breakfast. Activity: optional.
